So, today I had a test of classic harmony. It was fun so I want to share it with you.
Two excercises. 4 voices each one. You must use secondary dominants and modal interchange, but no modulation. Cipher all your harmonic movements. You have two hours.
Rules: Basic classical harmony
- No parallels fifths/octaves
- Be careful with the thirds on secondary dominants
- VOICING, write a nice melody if you can
- Careful with double harmony per measure
Share your solutions! Here's mine. Not so wonderful, I must say.
