i understand how you got 1. but to reiterate. thats wrong. the answer is 9 because multiplication and division have the same priority, and you do them from left to right. learnt this in grade 2

Parenthesis, Exponent, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction

1+2=3 [parenthesis]

[There's no exponent]

2×3=6 [multiplication]

6÷6=1 [division]

No additional math needed

bestie you reblogged this from me. i posted an image of a calculator with the correct answer. i literally just said id stop reblogging this post but omg. ok. multiplication and division have the same priority. you want to multiply the 2 by the 3, i know you do, i know you really really do sweetie, you want to do it so bad, but the fact is u just cant :( the moment there isnt an operation in those brackets, POOF they disappear!! then youre left with 6/2*3. which you will do, following pemdas, your bible (which just like the christian bible youve interpreted incorrectly) and divide six by 2, leaving three. you will then multiply three by three, making the answer 9
