Dark blue eyes glance over to the speaker, a brow raised slightly before they narrow a bit. Was  some sort of walking, talking laptop of all things actually trying to tell him what he could’ve done? “Yeah, I’m not about to listen to the words of some random demon.” Adam notes with a small shrug. Even if admittedly, when dealing with the demon he’d actually be sent to take out, things indeed could’ve played out just a bit differently. Maybe even enough so that it allowed for much less damage to the surrounding area. But then, where would’ve been the fun in that? Would’ve made for a very dull battle in Adam’s opinion.

A moment passes before the angel speaks up again. “You do realize that just by walking around like that I’d be given full license to take you out as well right?” He points out with an absent gesture to the demon’s form. Not that he actually would unless ordered to of course, but the point still stood. No demon or angel should be roaming about so openly as this one was. Least not while on Earth as they currently were anyway. You’d think that would be pretty common knowledge for either side but apparently this one didn’t seem to get that memo.

『🔧』 Oh, no - it was one of Alex’s truest, deepest fears come true! Being called out in a public space! Sure, it was in a positive light, or at least it seemed to be, but being put on the spot like that was still something she wasn’t used to. It made her panic for a second, the imperious tone of the other, scraggly-haired scholar shook her to her very core. Perhaps trying to draft up some tweaks for her prosthetic in a public setting wasn’t as good of an idea as she really thought - if someone was so willing to distract her like this.

Well - she supposed the only correct course of action was to just roll with it. After all, the whole situation blessed her with a chance to talk about her pride and joy, her own prosthetic arm. “Well-... I was just, uhm-- I was just thinking about whether it was practical for me to put a full axle in my wrist, so- so, that, uhm... so that I could rotate my hand a full 360 degrees, which would, uhm- allow me to grip things in new ways, I guess. Uhh-... is there, uhm- any way you can weigh in? I know it’s a long shot, but-...”

       To anyone passing him by, Waver might have given the appearance of a common stray black cat, but beneath all of that fluff and fur, it was far from the truth. Though it hadn’t helped that his once sleek appearance was now drenched by an unexpected shower, the weather taking a turn for a downpour as the feline had tried to find somewhere for shelter. He would have turned back into his human form, yet that might have earned a few more than questionable looks in his direction. It was better to play the role of a cat than drawing attention to himself. Or at least, maybe garner the attention of one person, a certain someone that happened to be quite warm when he was more than uncomfortably cold and wet. Mewing at their feet, he rubbed against legs and tried to steal their warmth. Or just to get them to pick him up. Once the rain stopped and he was warm enough, he would make his run for it again.

“well tha’ depen’s on y’definition of weird, mate.” He chirps back as if he wasn’t just caught doing a small protection ritual around an otherwise undisturbed area of land that has some rather nice blooms within the area. This one took a bit of his blood, but he doesn’t mind it so much.

“i don’t mind people watchin’ me. plus, i don’t bite,” he says with a toothy grin. “so y’welcome ta try an’ hold a conversation wit’ me while i’m doin’ this.” He chuckles to himself as he reaches into his coat to retrieve a small metal rod and begins drawing in the air for the second time today.
