MASTERLIST
Everything had shifted. Time and space had transformed Forks into something unrecognizable, something that terrified me.
My brain betrayed me. My heart had as well. I couldn't find another solution, a way out that could keep everyone safe. There was a determination, a resolution in their eyes that terrified me. But not more than the fear in my chest for their lives.
I had to know danger would come for me once more. It was in the very fabric of how I was created.
Walking away was not an option; I knew that. Whether I survived it all wasn't even up to me. I didn't want to stand on the sidelines and watch as everything wasted away to nothing. It was all a game. There were winners, and there were losers. I just didn't know which side I was on.
I was prey—a piece in a game of chess that only had one ending. A checkmate so deadly it would disrupt the fabric of existence once more. And instead of being able to stand in the front lines, I had to stand behind the pawns and watch as they fought to keep us safe.
Not knowing my future scared me. Not knowing if I would be in control of it terrified me.
A/N: Finally got around to posting the Collision sequel! Hope y'all don't get mad at me with it, there will be some emotional rollercoasters to ride on with this one 🫣🫣
This is the only chapter that will be in first person. I wanted it to mimic the Twilight books a bit more, so I made a prologue. 🤭
