Steuben Aurene Glass Cologne Bottle, ca.1903-1932.

(Steuben Glass Works was an American art glass manufacturer, founded in the summer of 1903 by Frederick Carder and Thomas G. Hawkes in Corning, New York, which is in Steuben Country, from which the company name was derived. Blue Aurene came about in 1905 when cobalt was added to the Gold Aurene formula. Aurene was a Steuben staple until 1933 when production of these wares ceased.)

Description: Vintage Vanity Bottle ,Barber's Bottle ,Large Milk Glass Scent Bottle Milk glass Decanter This is a very lovely Victorian milk glass bottle. It can also be described as a barber's bottle or boudoir decanter used for era cologne known as toilet water. Holds 3 molded design lion's heads and is accented with swirls and flourishes throughout. Stands tall at 9.5 inches Widest center is 5" The end of the stopper appears to have been chipped at some point in its life. Which has no effect on how it sits in the bottle (see pic #3) No damage to the decanter or top of stopper. This piece will make a statement whereever you put it! Bathroom, Vanity or use it as a Liquor decanter! It's a Beauty!
