Scientific name: Colomesus asellus, MÜLLER & TROSCHEL, 1849. The South American Pufferfish

Distribution: Peru, Colombia, Brazil. The Amazon Basin. Water Parameters: Temp: 23 - 26C (74 - 80F); pH:6.0 - 7.8 Personality/Temperament: A relatively peaceful pufferfish which can be kept in groups. It has been reported that the South American Puffer is a schooling fish in its natural habitat. Activity: Hunter, very active. Aquatic plants will take punishment in the relentless hunt for snails. Max. Size: 3 inches (7.5 cm) Estimated Lifespan: 10+ years Sexual Dimorphism: Not known. Diet: Live and frozen foods (not fish), snails, freeze-dried krill, frozen shrimp, black & bloodworms- live or frozen, ghost shrimp (gut-loaded), and other molluscs and crustaceans. These puffers must be fed a daily diet of snails to prevent beak overgrowth Care: Pufferfish are extremly sensitive to nitrites and ammonia and should only be introduced into a fully cycled aquarium. Due to their messy eating habits, overfiltration is recommended.

Are you a morning or night person?

Definitely night, but when i get no sleep for many days i stop functioning

What’s your favourite book and why?

Kafka on the shore- Haruki Murakami. Because there are so many scenes such as the train station waiting and the spending a whole day in a nice library that I can relate to. And a shitload of nice metaphors without cigarettes. Also talking cats.

I’m not much of a band person, but If I had to choose, out of the top of my head these are: Empire of the Sun, Metric, Coldplay, Gem Club, Bon Iver

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?

San Francisco.

What’s your biggest pet peeve?

It really depends on my mood. When I'm in a good mood I generally dont mind anything but when I'm not, people in general just piss me off.  

Briefly describe a happy moment in your life

Sitting up on the rooftop of studio and watching the moon and the rest of the university while drinking apple cider. Also playing Mariokart at schoolies (woops i was only meant describe 1 wasnt i). Basically any situation with alcohol and friends.

I think so. I excessively reblog meatball (Chris Evans) and Cara Delevingne

What’s something you know you do differently from other people?

Um. Right now I speak differently to other people (cos of my Canadian accent eh) and apparently I also pronounce some words differently like yolk and vague

Probably not
