wow that's so many!! that sounds awesome!! I only have 2 girls, Korra and azula. I've had them since September and they seem to like me but we're still not to the point where they'll sit on my shoulder or even let me hold them, do you have any advice

Treats are your best option! But where you got them also determines how social they'll be. The easiest way is to simply handle them a lot, and then give them lots of treats while you hold them and when you put them back in their cage. They'll associate you with good food, and trust me, food is the way to a rat's heart! You can also carry them around in a hoodie or something like that, which will get them accustomed to your scent, and usually rats are content to hide in dark spaces. But if they are rats from a pet store, you might have a problem, because pet stores don't usually socialize their rodents at a young age. It can be a lot harder to get them accustomed to human interaction. And girls aren't really cuddlers very often; they like to run around and play.

Like my three new boys were pretty skittery and shy when I brought them home from the breeder, they would run when I opened the door of their cage because it spooked them, but once they learned that I am the giver of treats? Now they swarm the doors if they see or hear me coming, they're not shy anymore, haha! And that only took a couple weeks. :) Rats especially like yogurt drops and cereals and fruits and veggies as treats. But do some research on what foods rats can't have, if you haven't already. ^^

We have 7 boys, and 2 girls, in my house. :) Of course the girls live separately, and one is my roommate's. Three older boys, and then my four young'uns, and my girl's still pretty young, too, but she's not quite a baby anymore. The boys are Malkolm, Malachi, Isaac, Archer, Ian, Leander, and Dominic, and my girl's name is Lydia, her sister's name is Hex.

no but there is such a thing as drinking too much water, a woman died after a water drinking contest so just don’t try to chug another huge container haha
