Tracing the Trend: White After Labor Day
With Labor Day right around the corner, we decided to take a deep dive into your style habits over the summer to see if the old adage is true: you can't wear white before Memorial Day or after Labor Day.
While some of you were clearly breaking the rules in early May (hey, who could blame you?), the percentage of white you were wearing steadily increased after Memorial Day, spiking over the July 4th holiday. Looks like you're already prepping to taper off after this weekend, with a dip in the 2nd and 3rd weeks of August!
Even though you were in the clear to wear white, black was still your color of choice for most of the summer, with the exception of a dip right after Memorial Day weekend and over the 4th of July.
So, what do you think? Will you be banning all white after this weekend? Or are you going to challenge convention? Tell us in the comments!
