disclaimer: this is not meant to be a serious perfume review; this is something fun for me to do as I love perfume. each and every one of us have different tastes and preferences when it comes to fragrances. what works for me might not work for you, vice versa. I’ll try my best to describe the scents, but I will always suggest for you to go and smell them yourself before purchase. if you want to try these perfumes, please test or get a sample before committing to the bottle. picture credits to all owners.

my scent experience:
the fragrance opens with a woody tea scent that very soft and not overpowering which I appreciate. the opening reminds me so much of the noir 29 without the harsh powdery element it can sometimes have. as it settles, it becomes this light woody scent and if you squint, you can smell a hint of pinecones in there. once it dries down, the scent is still woody but it's now soft almost smelling like suede and I know it's not listed in the notes, but it's a little musky as well. for a fragrance that's named second skin, it doesn't smell like a skin scent on me, but rather woody and it smells similar to Diptyque's Orpheon but with a tea note added. if I had to describe this fragrance in a sentence, I would say it smells like a cup of herbal medicine you would have in winter.
this fragrance has subtle projection and that makes sense as the name is second skin but it's not too subtle to the point where you could only get an essence of the scent. this lasted approximately 6 hours on my skin which is the average longevity for many fragrances I've tested, and I'm not mad about that. I do like this fragrance, and I could see myself wearing this during winter, but my collection is really large right now and I don't need any more perfumes in my collection. I might consider purchasing a full bottle of this on my next visit to Paris.
additional notes from me:
out of all the fragrances in the Colorama collection, I was most excited for this one based on the notes and their description of “born from a surprising boyfriend blend” - not too sure what that means but it got me interested. I love a good tea fragrance so when I went to their store in Paris, I asked for a sample of this, and the sales associate offered me four of them (I only took one, but I appreciated that she offered me more). my dad sprayed it on his hands, and he said it was a nice scent which mind you, he's actually sensitive to scents and doesn't wear perfume so I actually think it's cool that its dad approved. many people say this perfume is on the masculine side of fragrances, but I think it's a great unisex scent especially if you like Le Labo's The Noir 29 and/or Diptyque's Orpheon.
who would I recommend this to?
anyone who likes woody and tea scents.
those who want something light and comforting for colder seasons.
anyone who wants to try out courrèges fragrances.
