(Learningblocks Fandom- Lost Media) Fanmade "Colorblocks" Show
(I'm bad at explaining, sorry about that ;v;)
Before I get to explain everything about this topic, I'll be introducing you to "Colourblocks" (for the ones who didn't know about this yet). For short, this is the third Learningblocks/ Blocks Universe show that was aired on Cbeebies on September 12, 2022. Before the show was officially announced to the public, you might know about fanmade Learningblocks shows which are produced by fans, and one of them is "Colorblocks" (yes, without a "u"). There are several versions that are created but I will be discussing one version about this fanmade series.
If you have been in the fandom for a very long time, theres a chance that you might remember this former YouTube content creator called "VkingAlex" or formerly "ladyviking22". He is pretty well known for his Numberblocks content like his fanmade NB Characters or his, I can describe as "questionable" videos for example. Around 2025, he quit and deleted all of his videos, for an understandable reason (you can check his post about it on YouTube).
He is also one of the few fans inside the community that have built their own "Colorblocks" show. If I remember correctly, his characters look almost like Numberblocks One but with a few changes: different colors, two eyes, and "Colorings" above them.
Right now, it's very hard to find the original videos of his show. Even when I used the "WayBack Machine", there were still no actual captures of his videos. Because of this, I can say that his Colorblock series can be considered as a "lost media".
But as someone who got inspired and created my own series based on his back then, I'll tell you some of the information that I can call back with the use of my "Colorblocks" comic book that was from around 2019 when I started it.
Why is this ordinary notebook important, you may ask? Forgive me about this but there are some episodes and characters that I copied from Alex which sounds pretty messed up 😭😭. But I guess that it can serve as a "historical record" thing aswell ehhehe
First Capture: This is the first "scene" from one of my "episodes" called "Maroon" and as you can see here, Red and Brown are talking to each other. I didn't make up this dialogue but instead, I literally copied and pasted the exact script from Alex's episode with the same name. The only changes about this is that I replaced Alex's name with my real name (yeahh 😔) on Red's thought bubble.
Second Capture: This is a "scene" from my episode called "Gold". A character named "Gold" can be seen flying. I actually traced his drawing from one of his videos showcasing all of his Colorblock characters, yes, my younger self traced it instead of actually drawing my own (Why did I actually do that? 😭😭).
Third Capture: This was from an "episode called "Navy". Well this time, instead of tracing, I copied Alex's Navy character which is also very wrong for me to be doing that before.
Fourth Capture: This one is a "crossover" episode where my character named "Pink" meets Alex's Pink. In the episode, they kinda like to hangout and talk about the differences between their universes.
Fifth and Sixth Capture: "Red's Cavity Problem" is a carbon copy of Alex's episode with the same title. The flow of the story and the dialogue are copied. The only changes about this episode is that I added a thought bubble where Red said that "It to high" (sorry, my grammar sucked back then).
These are the only photos and the pieces of information that I have regarding his show.
I hope that in the future, screen recordings or even screenshots from his Colorblock show will resurface on the internet again but, who knows, where or when?
