By Valspar creating this campaign it set them apart from their competitors and gave their consumers more incentive to chose their brand, When it comes to paint it is all basically the same but Valspar made it more personal for those who are or who know someone who is colorblind. Valspar wanted to be at top of mind awareness with their consumers after creating this documentary. The documentary was meant to be heartfelt to Valspar's consumers who are watching and make people realize what it might be like to be colorblind. As mentioned in the article Valspar just wanted to give back to the community by teaming up with EnChroma Valspar give 150 colorblind people glasses that allow them to see color. The video posted above has had 4.8 million views and was also broadcasted by Valspar's distributors, Lowes and Ace Hardware.
