More questions! Yay :) So as far as watercolors go, do you have any recommendations for a good set / brand for beginners? I've never worked with watercolors before and quite frankly don't know if I'll be any good at it, so while I'd like to have some decent paints, I also don't wanna break the bank since it's my first time, haha. And thank you so much for your responses! They're super helpful.

Hm....I actually think Pelican Watercolors (which you can get for $20 online) would be a good start? Watercolors can be very finnicky, and Pelicans, since they're "opaque watercolors," can be layered easier and laid on thicker. When I started I used Cotman by Winsor&Newton...but those can run a little pricey. If you go to somewhere like Blick, Utrecht, or even Michael's you can probably find some cheaper student-grade ones! Just keep in mind that the cheaper the materials, the lower the quality and the harder they are to get good results. I would recommend somewhere in the middle ground. Good luck!

Firstly, your art is absolutely INSPIRING. I am so in love! A question for you, though, and my apologies if it's been asked before - what are your tools of choice for your work?

And no worries. I don't have a FAQ or anything so it's my pleasure! For my traditional work, I use Pelican Opaque Watercolors or graphite. 

For digital illustrations, Photoshop CS6.

For my gifs, Flash CS6. I like hand-drawn animation (pencil and paper) a lot better, but I need to get comfortable with working with it. The interface is pretty intuitive and not too hard to get used to.
