this might sound weird, but the first thing that came to mind was that he's somewhere between a golden retriever and a german shepherd. not personality wise, i don't think (or maybe a little?), but yeah. this came to mind 🤷 perhaps not the most impressive of comparisons, but oh well 😂
23- If you could become one of his characters and live in that world, which one would you pick?
i think i would pick paul from Nativity! because that seems like a nice, cozy world to live in. he might start off as a bit of a grump, but he gets such a nice ending! being bilbo baggins could also be pretty cool ngl 👀 (as much as i love john and the world of bbc sherlock, i don't think i'd like to be him 😬)

John sighed, “Sometimes I don’t know why I bother, I mean people we don’t know.”
“Why should I care what other people think?”
“Seriously though, the other day when we were at the cafe and you were animatedly talking about our ongoing murder case, didn’t you think someone might phone you in as being crazy?’‘
“And what if they did? When the Yarders showed up, they would just see it was us so your point is lax.”
“I guess you’re right,” John said returning to his paper.
“Of course I’m right.” Sherlock said smiling.

Hello! I was wondering if you could help me find a fic! It was the story of how John got captured by the enemy in Afghanistan and was forced to work as a doctor. The captors didn’t know he was a captain, so that put him in an advantage. John became “friends” with some of them and was well liked, so they ended up trusting him. One day John manages to escape killing some of them and return to base. And that’s pretty much it! Thanks in advance dear! 💕
