something’s goin on here but she/he won’t tell us :3c any guesses?

she looks a lot like a seal tortoiseshell point! pheomelanin gets washed out by point very easily, so it looks like the cat has odd white spots.

this ask is from a few months ago, would you mind sending some updates? we would love to see her a bit bigger!

Colourpoint.

(Cw: Long post, I say colour with a u bc I like it more than “color”, I will use mom and dad, some lore, and a poll at the end.)

Red based

There are multiple different points. Dyna and Siamese, they are co dominant meaning that if dad has cb/cb(Dyna) and mom has cs/cs(Siamese) baby will be cb/cs(Mink).

Yellow

Yellow based robloxians can not have red eyes, it’s impossible unless the head is a different base colour. And they are the only base colour in which a Siamese can have blue eyes.

Green based

As you could guess points have a set eye colour, Siamese always has Green, Mink Yellow, and Dyna Red. But it’s possible for Dyna’s to get blue eyes through a mutation. Colourpoint is like a blanket that can be put on any robloxian, it doesn’t make a robloxian solid or anything like that.

Blue based

The first robloxian to be born with cb/cb as named Dyna Noobson, due to this researchers named it after her, she was a y/y b1/b1 a/a D/d cb/cb ws/ws

Purple based

Colourpoints are temperature sensitive albinos, if they grow up in a cold environment they have more clear colours, but if they grow up in a warm environment they will have less clear colours and appear more white. They are on the same locust as albino(c), non point allele is C and it’s dominant over cb cs and c.

Since Sunny's picture was well received, here are all of our cats, from left to right: Billie, Sunny, Hunter. Sunny and Hunter are siblings from a Wisconsin farm and Billie is a Petco rescue we adopted from a lady rehoming her. All three of them are colourpoint cats, not purebred, but they look like traditional seal point siamese.
