ᴄᴏᴡʙᴏʏ ʙᴇʙᴏᴘ sᴇɴᴛᴇɴᴄᴇ sᴛᴀʀᴛᴇʀs ➝  accepting.

        Shiro knows how hopeless it would be to try and defend his team.  Spending what feels like  AGES  away from home has grown him accustomed to how the rest of the universe lives  —  and made Earth feel all so foreign in comparison.  For a band of friends who hardly knew one another ( with a few exceptions ) before becoming Paladins , they’ve all come to mesh together into a symbiotic cluster , that of stars forming one radiant galaxy.   He can’t say they aren’t all  WEIRD  in their own way , though.  Especially to someone so  alien  to current endeavors of humankind.  He attempts to hold back a smile ( and fails ) , onlooking his group before turning fully to S’rah.

    ❛  I think you get  used to them  after a while.  ❜      Allura and Coran certainly have ; a mixing pot of allied forces now becoming one misshapen but unabridged family.     ❛  I just hope you’ll give yourself a  chance  to.  ❜

     although a birthright among her people , the ability of SHAPE-SHIFTING , as romelle finds , is arduous for a species that had no need to conceal their identities for many a generation .  her first instinct upon the lions finding brief reprieve upon this planet of crimson and silver and endless night is to blend in with the inhabitants of other environments just as her ancestors had done on to survive long ago .  allura and coran do not , for their status as the seeming last alteans had been common knowledge , but for she who had been bred on stories of secretion in fear of zarkon’s destructive wrath , whose existence is an impossibility to the rest of the universe , it is instinctive , the very necessity of flight flooding from flesh and bone .

     and so she tries , imitating the first coluon she sets sight upon from afar .  features attempt at the change , to elevate her height and for her skin to complement a hue of sky blue , but try as she might , the altean can barely grasp her skin to alter colour before it regresses and resumes its default shade , to her DISMAY .

     ❝ i-i don’t understand —— the others can do it , so why can’t i ... ? ❞  she may not have lived on planet altea or possess the gift of magic as an alchemist , but she is just as much an altean ... isn’t she ?

i can see him playing as a berserker class tho tbh ?? not as easily as rogue classes but maybe like. the third character he makes or smth

     “I’m going back to Earth.” Hunk fiddled with his hands nervously, “I’m not sure how long I’m going to be gone for. Possibly, several months? Not for long, though. So, if you need me or if you spot the Galra trying to enter any unauthorized territory, let me know.”

     “ Your planet, ” he begins somewhat thoughtfully, though his gaze is fixated on the alien writing utensil in his hand. Brow pinched with an intense focus, he continues to draw the shaky lines of the letters which form his name. A messy, sometimes indecipherable scrawl spells out ‘Takashi’ and ‘Shiro’ over and over, attempts at improving his ability to write with his non-dominant ( and now only ) hand. It’s frustrating, and Shiro feels like he’s made no progress whatsoever, but he pushes on with patience.

Honestly, this is a good distraction from everything. It requires so much of his focus that it’s hard to think about anything... else.

     “ I heard it’s a hospital planet? ” Gaze flitting briefly to the alien woman across from him, he flashes a quick smile. He feels bad, knowing that S’rah is so familiar with him already while he’s only just met her. For her, it must almost be like he’s woken up with amnesia, only it’s stranger because he’s the real version of the man she got to know. Jaw tightening a touch at the thought, Shiro looks back down at his pen and continues; “ That sounds amazing. You must have done a lot of good work for your people and others. ”

★MY MAIN BIH SAMIA!!!! I LOVE YOU AND I AIN’T NEVER GONNA STOP LOVING YOU!!! ok but let me be real for a sec, i would and will defend her to hell and back. she’s such an amazing person who doesn’t deserve anything bad, she’s a delight and i love talking to her. even if it’s just talking about ooc things, ic things, scenarios or anything else, i love every moment!!

★ such a talented writer, her portrayal is pleasingly different from others and i admire it. her love for her boy has no end, it’s such a wonderful thing to see. also, let me point out her world building and research skills, i’ve seen tons of examples and it amazing!! it takes amounts of talent and times for worldbuilding.

★ honestly, if you need a good friend, mutual and keith, i 1000% suggest samia, you really won’t regret it. zoe approved 100/10 would recommend.
