Justice Pain dies at the age of 41
We regret to announce that the wrestler Chris Wilson, known under the name of "Justice Pain", died on November 24 at the age of 41. So far, the causes of his sudden death have not been revealed. The tragic news was shared through the official Twitter account of Combat Zone Wrestling where Wilson gained popularity by being one of the first known faces. Another company that also recognized Justice Pain was Game Changer Wrestling (GCW), which defined it as a fighter who revolutionized the independent wrestling business. We here at CZW are heartbroken to learn of the untimely passing of Chris Wilson, AKA Justice Pain. Chris was a Combat Zone original, multiple champion, and a true CZW legend. He would quickly be one of the first students to form Combat Zone Wrestling, being trained by the company promoter John Zandig. He fought under the name of "Justice Pain", with which he managed to lift the CZW World Heavyweight Championship five times, in addition to a large number of individual and tag team titles that made him the first triple crown champion of the company. Together with wrestlers such as his brother Nick Cage or Lobo, Wilson is considered one of the first renowned faces within CZW, as well as in the world of independent hardcore wrestling. The last time I saw that title up close, Drake Younger was still champ. Going forward it will be interesting to see how the United Wrestling Network will feature such titles.
