With the new titles diminishing, mainly because of the Xbox One and Ps4, I find myself having trouble finding a topic within the realm of gaming. Well, until I saw this commercial seen above. Dead Rising 3 is quite different from it’s older siblings. The game doesn’t force you to complete objectives on time, so  you spend 90% of the time completing the story, rather then exploring the games environment. With this new found realization, weapon combos will be fun to find while actually taking your time to kill the millions of zombies that threaten the life of Nick. However because there are 101 weapon combos and not enough article space, I am going to go over a few of the more interesting combos.

The Roller Hawg has apparently become a fan favorite. Not just because of the fact that it was one of the first combo weapons to be announced before the game was released, but because it is extremely fun to roll down the street and flatten hundreds of zombies in the process. But the fun doesn’t stop with just the fact this combo is heavy, it also has the ability to shoot flames out and burn zombies as well.

I have two words for you “Freedom” and “Bear”, put the two together and you get Freedom Bear. This bear is the bear to have when things get to hard to handle. This combo weapon requires the Robot Bear and a Light Machine Gun. This results in a Rambo style teddy bear that acts like a sentry gun that will take out any and all zombies in the area. 

This next weapon was another early announced weapon combo, but it has proven to be very useful in sticky situations. Though it may look like a potato gun, the Boom Cannon is quite effective against entire hordes of zombies. This combo weapon requires the Shotgun and a grenade, do you see where I am going with this? It is the potato gun of doom that launches grenades instead of potatoes. 

This is where I begin to tell you about a new kind of combo weapon, it is simply referred to as a super combo weapon. However, these are a little bit more difficult to create, mainly because it takes more than 2 objects to create this super combo weapon. Some even require a combo weapon to be combined with other objects to make this super combo weapon. let’s take a look back at the freedom bear, the freedom bear can actually be made into several different super combo weapons. Ill target my favorite, the boom bear. This super combo weapon can be made with the freedom bear and dynamite. Unfortunately I do not know how you can turn “dynamite” into an under mount grenade launcher, but this is the results of the combination. A turret bear strapped with two light machine guns that both have under mount grenade launchers. I think that Dead Rising 3 is a great candidate for the game of the year award.

Super Combo Weapons and Blueprints Locations

Dead Rising 3 introduces more than 100 different Combo Weapons, including 37 Super Weapons divided into several groups. They represent advanced weapons build by combining a larger number of items. In order to combine new Super Weapon, you have to find corresponding gold Blueprint, and the next weapon, from the same group, becomes available. All Super Combo Weapons are built by using the previous weapon’s version and new ingredients that can be found near blueprints. In the list below we described all Super Combo Weapons and their Blueprints scattered through Los Perdidos, along with needed ingredients. Note: Work in progress
