Fanfiction Writers Appreciation Day

I am a day late and just do not have the time to do this proper justice (that and trying to type on a mobile phone). But I really wanted to give a shout out to all the writers of the many awesome stories I have read. @comehitherashes I have no fancy words to convey how much I enjoy your writing. The absolute joy that were your seasonal writing challenges. Your ficlets that you have written for my prompts. And the absolute nonsense that is the DFS universe (not to be mistaken for the fabulous TDFS) @sirlancelotthebrave Partner in crime with ComeHitherAshes in the seasonal challenges. Each of which I go back to on numerous occasions when I need a bit of a pick me up. @uenaina Only really got three words I can say. The Sweetest Thing!!! I don't even know where to start with my thoughts on this series, I have totally got somehow invested in fictional characters lives, wanting to see what happens next. @stardust-009 You wrote a story from one of my Kink Meme prompts, I will be forever grateful and chuffed. "Being Human" was awesome and your current endeavour has got me hooked. @tehriz Where do I start. I mean really, where do I start. Let's just say that I enjoy your writing immensely and have already said to you before every time I hear Kelly Clarkston's "My Life Would Suck Without You" I imagine that karaoke scene from uno with Aramis & Ninon. It still does and forever will. @projectinsanitywriting You keep posting snippets of stuff and it all sounds awesome, I am totally intrigued by it all. I mean "Blue Sky, Yellow Sun", how am I supposed to live with just that small glimpse. @moppetcakes "The Stars Incline but do not Compel" was the very first story I bookmarked on AO3, just so you know. "Due Punishment" is a story that I regularly go back to time and time again. There is too many more to mention, lest not forget your current adventure. @amynion Even though you DID THE THING I still have to heap you praise. "Save the Gascon, Save the World" what is not to love about supernatural Musketeers. "Page One" I have no words. @evelynthursday I loved your "Feline Company" story, Athos and Dumas (my heart) also "Assumptions and Ignorance" is an excellent read. Don't even get me started on "Midnight Snuggles" (sigh) To all the writers on AO3 & FF.net who have written something from one on my Kink Meme prompts, and to everyone I have left kudos to, a big Thank You for everything and getting me through some trying times. You guys are the best! BD :-)

Hello! Just a little note to say that I love seeing the odd WoW post on my feed from you. I kicked the game last year (she says, for the fifth time), so it's nice seeing Azeroth every now and again!

Ah, I’m glad you enjoy it! ^^ Azeroth will always be there for those who are or were a part of it!

Aramis grins. He can't help it. "Ah, so our little fox has teeth, does he?" "Is this an insult?" Athos sniffs, straightening his back. "Of course not," Aramis replies, a contrite palm resting over his heart. "I would not wish to insult you, especially since the stories of those who have given you compliment are horrific enough." Athos's upper lip curls back in a lackluster snarl. "I suppose you think you are funny, yes?" Aramis steps forward, and Athos's grip on his sword hilt tightens. "I would merely, for the mutual benefit of our respective sovereign nations, attempt to treat you as a friend. Perhaps, someday, as more." "That arrangement is between you and my father le roi, not you and me. The only one you need to get along with is him," Athos snaps in reply. Aramis's cheeky grin returns, and he is glad that his grooms know that if he wants to be left alone, that they should leave him alone. They'll have this clearing to themselves as long as he wishes. "Perhaps, but can I not please you as well?" Athos draws, his blade snicking free from the sheath. He holds it with the point just inches from Aramis's chest. "I am no loose harlot for you to toy with." "Believe me, I know that much," Aramis replies. Athos launches into an attack, sending Aramis staggering back. Were he any other king, he might take this as a personal assault and use it as grounds for declaring war. As it is, he is no other king. "Fight me, damn you!" Athos cries. "I would not care to do you injury," Aramis answers, parrying and defending himself without pressing an advantage. "Fight me!" Aramis draws a breath, and with quick, precise motions, he disarms Athos and rests the edge of his blade against the French prince's throat with the lightness of a feather. With the added pressure of a hand on the prince's birdlike shoulder, Aramis guides him backward until he is sandwiched between the nearest tree and the silver brocade of Aramis's chest. Aramis smiles, and he can feel the flush rising in the skin of his chest beneath his doublet. "Yield."
