todo el quilombo que hay sobre cometierra de los conservadores porque lo leyeron en una escuela (secundaria encima!!!) y solo porque hay una carilla donde unos cogen me parece de las conversaciones mas estúpidas porque encima tenes a mamás diciendo "PERVERTIDOS TIENEN QUE PAGAR CON MIS HIJOS NO" nenes grandes ya. que dice de tus hijos si no pueden leer un libro porque tiene una escena sexual. pensas que son pelotudos. mientras tanto estos mismos pibes se pasan la vida en xvideos. el anti intelectualismo actual es totalmente desolador porque encima nadie leyó el resto de cometierra. ni siquiera feinmann (el tarado no el bueno qepd) que anda haciendo campaña anti libros. país olvidado por dios, adolescentes criados para ser estúpidos.

Watched a great new series over the weekend that I’m hoping will continue, cause it was fantastic! (all the fckn ads not withstanding; fuck you very much prime!) It’s called Cometierra aka Unburied and it’s on prime. Also there’s a book series too! So you already know what your girl is gonna read next. And I loved how they cast everyday looking Méxicanos who have strong indío features and not just puro hueros, cause that caste system is unfortunately still very strong in México. And granted they’re not THAT prieto nor negro, but we got some color in there and it was so nice to see! And they weren’t the bad guys for once!!

Around episode 3 my moms came over and was like, how nice it is that they sound like us. And I’m like, well yeah it’s shot in México with an all Mexican cast. Then she was like, no they sound like us with our accent. And that’s when I was like, oh yeah! Nothing like puro pedos, chignons, no mames, and gueys galore!!! jajaja Cause it’s shot all in CDMX!

Cause we not from el campo, we don’t own no rancho, we are just chilangos, puro ciudadanos!TM (that’s my bar, no lo toman!)

It’s all supernatural indigenous folklore, girl power, superhero queers, and non-binary love! It’s worth checking out, and if you have ad free prime you’ll breeze through the 7 episode series, if not then buckle up cause it’s gonna take all day. Pro Tip: if you like captions just know that the ones in Spanish, while correct, are not in any way, shape, or form relating what’s being spoken most of the time. Basically it’s like translating Mexican slang/Spanish for the rest of the world’s Spanish speaking population jajaja!
