COMETTALE'S reaction to you being a yumeshipper (PT. 1)
Comet Sans:
Comet does NOT mind you being a yumeshipper; he’s a very chill guy and barely gets jealous (with some exceptions.) He’s happy you’ve found something to cope with and encourages you to do whatever you find comfortable, as long as you don’t hurt yourself.
Comet Papyrus:
Once he realizes it’s a coping mechanism (if you do it to cope), he immediately beams with joy and goes on a rant about what he does to regulate his feelings. Now if you rant about your F/O to him, he will listen to every single word and stay attentive in the conversation. With that, he feels like you feel safe enough to show him what makes YOU feel better, so he starts dragging you to his comfort activities (mostly cooking and walks; he would spar with you, but if you are a lazy person, he will respect it).
Comet Grillby:
At first he was confused, not really understanding why and how yumeshipping worked. Once you explain it to him (hoping he won't see the bad side of the community first) he’ll simply nod. For a few days you wonder if he’s accepting of it, but one day he suddenly approaches you when you were sitting at his bar, he held a note out to you and on it was a short fluff oneshot, for you. You realize he’s pleased with your coping mechanism and would LOVE to write for you and your F/O, just give him a prompt and a few days and you’ll get the most poetic oneshot you have ever seen.
Comet!Muffet:
Muffet is a possessive gal, so if you’re a nonsharer she’ll understand your struggle. She’s in between since she enjoys seeing you being happy but the idea of sharing you with someone... despite said person being fictional. If you rant about them for too long she may wrap you in her web and make sure you remember who you belong to.
Comet!Mettaton:
Being THE underground’s influencer it does include a lot of fans, a lot. When you two got together he made sure you knew that he had quite a bit of fans, especially with the sexualized nature around his fanbase. He supports you and your F/O and WILL spoil you with any merch that he can get his metallic hands on, always making sure everyone is informed what yumeshipping is and that it is acceptable.
