I'm starting to plan my trip now that i have my plane tickets! I'm super psyched for the 2 miranda shows, as well as meeting some beautiful ladies along the way (and hopefully some beautiful men too ;))
ANY AND ALL HARTTHROBS IN THE UK OR AMSTERDAM WHO WISH TO MEET UP DURING THIS TIME I DEFINITELY WOULD LOVE TO GET A DRINK OR SUCH! LET ME KNOW AND I'LL TRY TO WORK YOU IN!!!!
Ok so here's some details about my planned trip...
I'll be landing in the gatwick airport on the 6th of march around noon.(thursday) I will likely spend the night thereabouts before going to amsterdam on the 7th (friday). I'm meeting a friend there and spending 4 days in amsterdam before returning to england on tuesday the 11th. once i arrive in the uk i have 5 days of relative freedom of movement, but i need to be in glasgow on the 17th (monday) for the first miranda show so i'd like to be in scotland by saturday (15th) so i can do some sightseeing and whiskey tasting :D on the 18th i travel from glasgow to newcastle. the 19th will be my birthday and the evening is my second miranda show. I'll be in newcastle that night, then travel back to london on the 20th, or i might make a detour, but i have to be in london on the 21st for i fly out early on the 22nd.
so i have the 11th to the 15th fairly at the will of the winds, but am considering a trip to cardiff for the doctor who experience during that time. as well as visiting ashley before she leaves. misha i will be in london twice at least so either or both of those times we can hang. anyone wanna do cardiff with me?
beth, how far from gatwick are you? maybe we can have dinner after i arrive? or perhaps one of the freer travel days can be in your direction?
lindsey i'm really hoping to see you while i'm in scotland!
also, i really have no idea where i'll be staying yet, so any tips would be amazing! prefer hostel/b&b type places/prices ;)
Re: The Office: Perfect ep. It felt like an early season! Genuinely so happy for Dwight and loved seeing Jim and Pam happier. I like that they've gone through troubles (all relationships do after all) but the ep reminded me of how strong they are together and just how far they'd come. I mean, Jim was in love with her for how many years? Of course he wasn't going to let that go easily. Gah, FEELS. Dreading the finale tbh! What are your thoughts on Michael? Do you think Steve will make a cameo?
Yes that episode definitely had an early seasons feel, and i absolutely loved how they showed the new dynamic between dwight & jim, as well as how andy was shifted to sales, just really well done and logical without being all dues ex machina about it! :D
I was so happy with Jim this episode, and yet sad about him giving up philly cuz he loved it… but with the pam reveal, i think we’re not done with that story, and i have a feeling jim and pam are leaving the office in the finale, and i will cry buckets and buckets…. but i’m so thrilled they’re back on the same page with their relationship… and dwight kicking out clark was fucking perfection.
i kinda hope to see michael, but i don’t think we’ll see him in the office, i have a feeling he will be honored more than present… but i really want to see him & holly again… even just in a taped confessional, maybe one the film crew shares with the office when filming is wrapped?? oh, i’m sure it will be amazing….
yeah i’m going to cry buckets the whole time.
LOOK HOW CUTE THEY ARE!!! JAM FOREVAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
A hot chocolate and tell discussions sounds amazing. Definitely happening one day :)
i’m trying very hard to get to the uk next year for miranda’s tour! :) I’m buying a ticket for glasgow and for newcastle, and hoping to stay for a week or so… the only other thing i want to do while i’m there is to visit loch ness. it’s a life-long dream of mine… i used to want to be the person who proved nessie was real, so i have to go visit her at least once in my life, right? :)
i also really want to meet you while i’m there :):) Heliotrope-dreams will be there slightly different from me, but we’re hoping to overlap and meet up :):)
i’m excited, nervous, and determined to make this happen. i’ve never taken a solo trip, especially not like this, and i’m young enough to enjoy it, and old enough to appreciate it :) I’ve already got over $100 saved, so i’ll be using that for my tour tickets this week :) Hopefully in 4-6 months i’ll have the money for the plane ticket, then i can save up for all the trains and hostels and food :):)
