Hi, sorry if you've been asked this question before, but what was Gooseleaf's relationship with his apprentice like?

Thankfully, Comfreynose did great with Gooseleaf. He was patient, quiet and understanding, which was exactly what his mentor needed in an apprentice. Comfreynose got pretty good at figuring out what was a true vision and what was a hallucination before he was even given his name! Some would have argued the two got along better than Gooseleaf did with his own flesh-and-blood. But that's not entirely rare when it comes to apprentices and mentors.

Comfreynose did meet Spottedleaf with a fond but very exasperated greeting of, "So fate led you here, did it?"

Spottedleaf was just thrilled to see him again.

Since yall established in iterum lore that another thing that seers do is a sort of fortune-telling for kits’ futures, I was wondering if you have any examples of what those fortune-signs would’ve looked like for cats like Bluestar or Tigerclaw for example :0

It can vary quite a bit, how a seer sees what they do! Sometimes they're outside when the kits are born and receive a sign from a broken twig; sometimes they visit first and just look at the newborns, and then words and images come to their mind; sometimes they dream days before the litter comes and then piece together what that dream meant for each kitten. And sometimes they see something that's not at all intended for the kitten they're reading! There's no one way to read the future.

Plus, you can run the risk of being wrong. Remember that fate is malleable, whatever Spottedleaf tells you. Rarely, if ever, does a seer predict something incorrectly, but it has happened. Usually, it occurs with a kit that develops an immense amount of willpower as they grow, strong enough to throw the heavens into disorder if they so desire. Those are the ones that are either live on eternally as heroes or die forgotten to the claws of Horoa.

I don't have signs and visions listed for every single cat, but I can tell you that when he looked upon Tigerkit (since his mentor was less than welcome in the nursery), Comfreynose (Featherwhisker) felt a shock of fear, followed by a grief so heavy he almost collapsed under its weight. He just told Tigerkit's mother to keep him close and show him as much love as she could. She had a bad feeling in her stomach for days after that.
