I’ve been having like a ball playing animal crossing new leaf and horizon again, it’s so fun and I’ve missed it lowkey. Love comfy games

THERE ARE NEW PETS!
RED ALERT, RED ALERT!
NEW PETS!
join a club and possibly share a kiss underneath the stars... ✨
Twofold is our latest LGBT+ romance visual novel and releases October 27th! You'll play as Olive, a nonbinary college student, and have the chance to date 1 of 2 women, like Caprice here.
play the fully voiced demo now on Steam and itch.io!
I picked up Roots of Pacha recently as my continued journey in trying as many farming Sim/cozy type games as I can, (before this was Sun Haven, which is fantastic. I adore the art and the character customization, and the skill points and leveling system!!)
And. Holy shit. Maybe it's because how the community is introduced, and how the community aspect works, but I find myself caring about the collective more in this game than I have in previous games? Granted, still no interest in romance (if that's even a thing in this game) but I like interacting with the different characters, and find myself contributing not just for the currency aspect, but because it actually helps the community unit. I love the art style, and the music, and the prehistoric vibe a lot.
10/10 do recommend for anyone who likes cozy games.
(I do also recommend Sun Haven from a gameplay aspect but apparently there's some shittiness with the game director or something, so apprehensive to recommend with my whole chest.....)
Am I the only one who find the addition of crafting and resource gathering to farming sim and cozy games stressful? Like my brain is the size of a pea please do not burden it with further tasks. Just let me fish until a shark eats me or move my little house around as much as my neurodivergent brain needs without extra chores. And don't get me started on relationships and calendar cycles.
