finished my wall hangs!! Super excited they turned out great!!
these are amazing bc they fit any comics I want and if I get new issues and want to swap them out I can! I also thrifted them so they cost me $12 for the lot of four and are light weight and work on command strips so they’re easy to put up in my dorm room and easy to move with me!!
Prints are from @konbartzine and the little strip is a sticker from the zine as well I thought it filled up the space nicely. The backing for the comics is all DC themed fabric that I had because I sew projects too. Some of it was also thrifted!

decorating halp?!
HOKAY SO I have recently moved into a new place and am setting up our second bedroom (media/guest room/future kid’s room probably, dubbed the Batcave) as a comics room. We’ve been gathering some cool covers of our favorite heroes, but I’m stuck between three ways of displaying and two sets/configurations of covers.
OPTION 1. PICTURE LEDGE.
This is the most versatile and repurpose-able -- just pop some bagged/boarded books on a picture ledge and bam. Plus you can fit pops on there! Sort of like this, except ours would be much simpler:
If we do this, we’d want 5 comics per row, probably these:
OPTION 2. CHEAPO FRAMES.
This would run us like $20 instead of $40 to do. Looks like so:
But our room is small so we’d have to reduce to 4 per row (8 total). So like, for this version we have Ollie and Dinah on a cover together and we cut Swampy.
OPTION 3. INVISIBLE WALL MOUNTS.
Most expensive of these options (like $70 total) but these are neat doodads that clutch the top and bottom of the book and hold it like an inch from the wall in a floating fashion. See this person’s Spidey display:
For this one we could use either the set of 4 per row or 5 per row, though I’d probably go with the 4x2 to keep costs down.
Halp? Thoughts? Reply and let me know!!
Today I’m going to show you how you can display your comics on your walls without damaging your comics or the walls. This display will look great behind or above your shelf of action figures. And the best part is it is super easy to change your displays when you’re ready for a new theme. (via https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOEoDujGOwM)
