HEY HERES A THING IVE BEEN WORKING ON FOR DAYS

Its another thing based on a fucking Steam Power Giraffe song sorry everybody

The context for this is essentially the song. This may or may not actually be a canon event since I cant decide if its too much of a ripoff or not, but basically (this is going under the cut it ended up super long)

  A bunch of young Pomme Scientists were locked in a fireproof room to do some experiments involving magic, mainly seeing if they could do it even though theyre completely untrained. Somebody managed to cast a fire spell, but in the process their entire body burst into flames and set the entire room on fire, killing them and dooming everyone else trapped in there. This was a couple years ago from the current time so Stin wasnt as heavily brainwashed as he is today, and he saw the fire and ran to the door to try to let them out. Florence ordered him to back away and let them die but he didnt listen and kept trying. He ended up calling over a bunch of other Soldiers like him and they all made a attempt to break the door down or bust into the room to let everyone out. Unfortunately, Florence didnt tell anyone the door was sealed with magic and thus impossible to open. She waited until there were lots of people attempting to help in the escape, and then sent out a spell that caused everyone involved’s own mechanical implants to shock them, in some cases to death. After that everyone on the outside of the door was basically incapacitated and she had more brainwashed soldiers carry everyone away and the poor fucks trapped ended up burning to death.

Good news: Jerrys got a redesign! I basically just made his outfit way flashier and more fitting, since he is a Paladin for the god of Light.

Been trying to sketch a comic page a day (for UniSword) and I hope the masses appreciate the silly style of panels. Because the sillies help me draw faster el oh el!

Wanted to share some Comic Page jazz, so here’s the thumbnails, lineart, and final of the page that got uploaded today! (If you’d like, you can read this page here or start reading from the beginning)

There’s other steps to my process (refined sketch and such) but I felt like these three were the most “exemplary” of how I work lol. I also didn’t include the speech said so there’s still something to read over on the main comic site!

Oh my god did I never mention that if youre a magic user and you speak Mageic it kind of sounds terrfying? Its like your voice gets layered with something else and/or it just kind of sounds like youre shrieking

SAME CANT BE SAID ABOUT YOU TWO, OUR GLORIOUSSS RULERS! IN FACT, THEY HAVENT DONE A DAMN THING ABOUT IT! SURE THEYRE CALLING FOR HELP, BUT THE REAL HELP COMES FROM INSIDE RIGHT? AND THEY KNOW THAT. YOU DO KNOW THAT. BETTER FIX IT QUICK GIRLS! BEFORE IT ALL GETS EVEN WORSE!

Nitros not actually new, but this is the first colored image I have ever done of her. This is Nitroglycerin, the former Top Royal Scientist of Alevevo, the country where Elves live thats ruled by two Queens (who dont have names yet). According to the Queens Nitro one day spontaneously snapped, quit her job out of nowhere, and is now destroying the capital city slowly and giving out really weird and incomprehensible rants as she does so. The damage so far has been just barely repairable, but with each attack the destruction increases and so far nobodies been able to actually catch Nitro since she runs away too fast and is generally either too far up or surrounded by smoke and fire. The Queens are worried about whats gonna happen if things keep up like this, and truly have no idea what they can reasonably do to stop it
