concept for a comic miniseries i really want to make(read whole thing)
The story is following a 14 year old boy named charlie, whos friend asks him to visit his dog as he is sick and dying. Charlie, the boy does so, and he suggests to put the dog down as he is suffering. So he and his friend use his dad’s gun to shoot his friends dog, and grim reaper witnesses this, and is impressed. The next night, a grim reaper shows up in charlie’s bedroom in the middle of the night. The grim reaper is one of many reapers, named Kelgiad. He tells him he wants to employ charlie as a reaper and his partner, as he has a good grasp on the concept of death. Charlie agrees by signing a magical contract, and in return, gets his grim reaper cloak and skeleton face mask. The storyline will follow Charlie and Kelgiad, both as reapers, working and doing their jobs as reapers and watching from rooftops of buildings on the mortal world. and maybe go on a quest or a mission to defeat an evil god? idk.
Kelgiad: Kelgiad is an outcast reaper. He gets bullied and picked on by other reapers, and the original grim reaper (the boss reaper) feels highly underwhelmed by him. He and Charlie are close friends and he tries to do the best at his job. He feels slightly annoyed at Charlie at times, because whenver charlie messes up as his job as a reaper, Kelgiad takes all the blame
Charlie: Charlie is the main character of the series. As he is just a 14 year old boy, he also gets picked on by other reapers. The boss reaper is confused by Kelgiad, he doesn’t seem to understand why Kelgiad would employ Charlie. Charlie is generally a nice boy at heart. He likes to go to parties, and swim in his towns lake with his school friends. As he is friends and partners with Kelgiad, he also must endure being picked on by other reapers.
