My friend and I have this conversation every once in a while, but we despise the part of the fandom that make papyrus out to be an innocent baby, just because he is a genuine nice guy who has a strong personality. Berry loves horror movies! Him and Clover watch them semi frequently, even though they always give Berry tension neck aches lmao. He prefers cheesy slasher types, and would never ever admit that the psych thrillers Clover loves almost always give him nightmares for like a week

Solar has a very strange love hate relationship with traveling. It's how he spends the vast majority of his time, but he deeply resents the fact he never feels at home anywhere. Yet the idea of staying in anyone place long enough to give it a chance is somehow even less appealing than simply continuing to wonder.

Elester doesn't really enjoy cooking all that much, and his "taste buds" are different from a monster or human, but mortal foods intrigue him. The variety and creativity that goes into creating new recipes appeals to him, and especially the fact that every mortal has different tastes! How bizarre... Generally prefers fruits and vegetables to meats, and is mostly indifferent to grains.

Sixbones: a summary

...Comic Papyrus was an outlier for retaining enough mental clarity as a bromalgamate to keep Alphys focused on a solution. More AUs with this scenario turn out like “Sixbones.”

The amalgamation had still happened before the last human's arrival. It was still Papyrus who was dying, and it was still Sans who panicked and rushed to the lab. And they'd both developed separation anxiety shortly before they became physically inseparable. But the similarities stop there.

Unlike Comic Papyrus, Sixbones didn't already know about the DT experiments or the risks entailed, and it was Alphys who administered it to Papyrus, and only Papyrus. They weren't prepared for what would happen, and their bodies and minds as an amalgamate are much more jumbled. They crudely overlap, sharing a pelvis, but with Sans being shorter than Papyrus, he's kept suspended by the conjoined areas, which also include one of Papyrus' hands on the top of Sans' skull.

This was not a bonding experience for them. It was just another trauma they would have to live with. And Alphys would not have their help learning how to stabilize anyone's melted forms.

...Okay yeah so I wasn't planning on it but the queue ran out before I had literally any time to get started on the next AU, so I'm gonna go ahead and take my second proper break.

Then I'll get started on the Bromalgamate AU by moofrog ft. Comic Papyrus, Highwayman by sushinfood, Halpy by bluedew12, Doppler by spacegate and Curely by nutastic, which precedes the very first Sixbones comic by just two days.

If I miss any lore posts about Highway, Sushi's not on Tumblr anymore and didn't enable customizable themes before leaving, meaning the archive page and tag searches don't work anymore on desktop browsers, and on mobile it looks like he might've wiped his whole Highway tag prior– I stand corrected, I found them but I can only search on mobile if I can find a post with that tag and even the latest tagged post is really far down.

So when I write up the summary, information regarding Highway or other ocs from serial rps will be either incomplete or left out. I'll still put posts about Highway in the queue, but I don't know if it'd go against Moo's or Sushi's wishes to still treat Highway as canon to the Bromalgamate AU.
