There really be folks out there that will go onto disrespectful fucknasty problematic smut comic websites, click on the disrespectful fucknasty problematic smut comics available that are literally tagged “this is disrespectful fucknasty problematic smut”, and then proceed to complain (and not the ironic/joking type but actual whining) that the disrespectful fucknasty problematic smut comic they just read had disrespectful fucknasty problematic smut in it and how DARE this exist for people to read!

Trying to catch up on the stuff that got posted to insta but never posted here and first lets start with the quick reel I made to show off the new hero villain background style, though uh. it did end up changing slightly after this post but you'll see that in a day or two

It's always strange to me, as a writer, whenever I hear something like a character needs to be "in character".

I completely understand the statement and the meaning behind it... but truthfully it just makes me anxious.

It makes me second guess my work and characters. This can help me sometimes, but it can also be harder to write for a certain character because I am so focused on them being "in character" that I loose traction on completing the story. Eh... just something to think about I guess.

Almost done with a new Amphibia mini comic but I don’t know what to work on after that. I’ve just finished the Sashannarcy triple kiss script so that’s ready, but I also have a few other Sashannarcy mini-comic scripts and a wholesome Sprig angst script and I just got a new sketchbook so I can do the Hop Pop angst comic. I also have at least one Owl House and Ghost & Molly McGee mini-comic idea.

The problem with so many ideas but not enough time.

Cartoonist problems.

When I draw out my comics on paper, I have a very clear idea of what I want them to say. At the time I’m drawing it, it’s just so obvious. Often, I write out the dialogue on the back, just in case. But I didn’t start doing this until recently. I’ve randomly found a couple from before I started writing out the dialogue on the back, and now I have absolutely no idea what the punchline was meant to be. I must have drawn them months and months ago. The life got in the way. Somehow, the medical context just makes it harder to guess what the lines should have been. So, I’m going to shade them as per usual... and then try to figure out something interesting and plausible.

Fandom Problem #12,508:

I get we're all very anti-censorship and all that...but sometimes the editors and publishers NEED to say, "No, we're not allowing this to be canon material, and you're fired for even suggesting it."

For example: That guy at DC Comics who turned Starfire into a walking sex doll with amnesia whose only personality trait is, "must have sex even if it means cheating on my boyfriend right in front of him"

Did I mention her backstory includes her escaping horrific sexual slavery and meeting people who actually treat her like a person instead of a sexual object? And you can easily find the massive backlash that occurred among the Teen Titans fandom.

The whole thing could have been prevented by a little bit of scrutiny and the word "No"

BTW in this case, the author later got fired for sexual harassment in the workplace. Turns out that's just how he views women.
