How popular is it to not like Tony Stark? Because I hate him and every version of him.

I don’t really know how popular it is to hate a character, I don’t hate him bc its popular, Tony is just not a character I like at all for many reasons and that’s it. I personally avoid hate blogs of any character and try to limit myself to not ranting about how much I hate a thing.

I would rather focus on things I like and make me feel good since fandom is a place where I get to enjoy my interests. However as with all things I may post salty stuff about things I don’t like but I always tag it.

Character Defense Squad

In the comic publishing world, badly written character offenses are considered especially heinous.

At Marvel Comics, the dedicated employees who prevent these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Character Defense Squad. These are their stories . (SVU Theme music)

Marvel: Wanda is crazy possessed again.

CDS: No. No she isnt.

Marvel: I don’t care about this character so I’ll write him badly and not promote any of his stuff.

CDS: Namor made you what you are you little bitch. Show some fucking respect. You have to do a mandatory 40 hours of Sub-Mariner Sensitivity class.

Marvel: I just finished this new sexy cover!

CDS: I wasn’t aware that female character didn’t possess a spine. Redraw this so it can vaguely resemble a human please.

Marvel: I’m going to reduce Quicksilver to a single exaggerated trait.

CDS: The fuck you will! Give that character more depth.

Marvel: I think we need another Event.

CDS: *breaks off the end of a bottle, holds it up, and glares*

Marvel: *backs away slowly* Maybe not.

Marvel: Just finished my drawing of this iconic character.

CDS: Namor has fucking gills. Where are they? How the hell does he breathe underwater without them?

Marvel: Ok time for another Retcon, now Magneto isn’t the twins father.

CDS: *Breaks down the door* Don’t even freaking think about it bitch.

Marvel: Yeah I’m going to shove all these great characters to the background and only focus on one and give that one multiple books.

CDS: *face palms* You can focus on more than one.

Marvel: Ok so this is just an idea but how about we make Captain America a nazi?

CDS: *chases down the idiot who suggested that and is repeatedly whapping them on the head with a rolled up copy of Captain America #1* Who-the-fuck-do-you-think-you-are?!?!

Marvel: It’s a good way to shake things up everyone will love seeing a good guy go bad!

okay im coming around to the skyrocket pitch. but in the sense that i do think the execution is. well. i don’t agree with the comic sources used (n52 and new earth together?? n52 kon isn’t even the same person) and also i don’t agree with so much.

but i do think trans kon could work and it has some merits. except absolutely not that name and also this still doesn’t understand kon as a character lmfao
