I'm so stoked to announce that I'll be conducting a series of FIVE! comic and zine-making workshops at the Centennial Branch (578 Finch Ave. W) of the Toronto Public Library starting on September 28th! Talk about dreams coming true! As I'm so fond of saying, comics saved my life (and break my heart, but that's neither here nor there #HUGOT #ANYWAY) as a 19-year old newcomer to Toronto. The graphic novel section at Bridletowne was (and is!) pretty small, but it took me places. I would've loved to attend workshops like these if I knew where to find them. So If you know any youth from Toronto, Markham, Thornhill, Scarbs or the surrounding area who are interested in zines or comics or looking for something to do after school, tell 'em to drop by! IT'S F✨R✨E✨E!
Also I find it really weird how my art practice revolves around the vindication of my younger self???
