“HEY BABE FEEL MY LEG,” Lance shouted, thrusting his shin under Shiro’s nose.

Shiro put his tablet down and rubbed Lance’s skin, “Oh, soft!” he marveled.

“I shaved them; wanna see how they feel around you-” Lance didn’t even finish his sentence before Shiro picked up him and started to carry him to their room.

The Witch’s Arena

I combined two of the prompts I was sent, together. I hope neither of you mind. @captainsupergravity requested this post by @the-kittens-of-voltron and @comic-book-reider requested this post by @ohwhataprettypinkhat

Without further ado, here’s the langst!

Warning, mentions of gory things

Lance was no longer conscious of what he was doing, he was running on a mixture of fear and adrenaline. Every sound that was made by him slamming a rock as hard as he could against the galra soldier make his stomach lurch and heart sink more and more. Sure the galra were the enemy, but he was the monster.

The mission had started typically enough, land on the planet, liberate it from the galra’s rule, make allies, and continue on their way to fight in this intergalactic space war, though things didn’t work out as planned.

To begin, the planet they landed on were allied with the galra and only partially interested in becoming liberated. Even Lance could admit that they had a pretty sweet setup though, they just reported to the galra and in turn, they got prisoners from the galra labor camps to advance their civilization and no one dared touch them. It was honestly a wonder why they were interested in being liberated at all! Y’know, besides morals.

The thing that really made the mission spiral out of control was when took off his helmet. It was a simple thoughtless action that shouldn’t have any consequences and yet, there Lance was. He had been stripped of armor and weapons and thrown into a makeshift gladiator arena, a pit in the ground with rocks stacked in such a way that anyone inside would be crushed to death if they tried to escape.

Through the chaos, he heard that he had been mistaken for a witch, something blue eye’s apparently signified according to this planet’s inhabitants. None of the team’s begging had any effect on the king.

Shiro had been the one to fight the hardest against the king’s verdict. However, at the threat of the galra being notified of the team’s arrival on the planet, he reluctantly withdrew. Not long after Lance had been thrown into the pit, a traitor galra was uncuffed, handed a weapon, and told that if he could defeat the witch, he would be free to leave. Lance didn’t think he stood a chance.

The sounds around him were muffled, the sound of his heart thumping as the galra slammed his against the wall of the pit, taking over the sounds of his friends’ desperate screams.

One particularly hard slam proved to be his saving grace, a rock came loose from the structure ensuring their captivity, effectively hitting his galra opponent. Lance took the opportunity, picking up the rock with both hands and letting gravity do most of the work, letting it drop on the fallen galra’s head over and over again.

Lance shakily stood up, blood coating his arms, his face, the rock discarded onto the ground, and the unrecognizable body that lay limply on the ground. He turned back towards his team, tears streaming down his face, he couldn't gauge their reactions as the tears made it too hard to see.

Then the king spoke, “The witch trials are not over yet! Bring in the next one!”

Lance’s eyes widened, and he turned fiercely towards the area the rocks were carefully cleared to make way for another prisoner to be thrown in. Before he could even process who he would have to fight next, he heard Pidge’s scream from the audience.

“Matt?!”

I diverged from the canon just a bit with the whole Matt situation to make it extra langsty ;)

It’s not that Lani is nuts, she’s just lived a very hard life and has a difficult time coping with her trauma and addiction. Erwin was also worried that the feelings Lani had for him were born out of her clinging onto someone who wasn’t a poor influence in her life, or just seeking out positive attention and validation.  Even though Erwin has / had feelings for Lani, he decided that he cannot be with her, and Nadya served as the perfect distraction from Lani.
