Soooo Comick, one of the best manga piracy sites, is gone. I can’t fucking take this anymore, dude, this is legitimately so upsetting. Manga and manhwa publishers are going full scorched earth on piracy sites and it’s getting harder and harder to find reputable sites to read manga/manhwa on.

Damnnnnnn, one of the biggest fan-translation websites for manga has been taken down 😞

Comick.io was so easy to use and a great way to discover new manga. I could be wrong, but I feel like sites such as these are actually one of the biggest form of advertising for manga sales in the west, you read and enjoy a story even though it might have a slightly wonky translation sometimes, and that would make you more likely to fall in love with it enough to pay out for the official translation when they get published! Just look at the success story of Love Bullet that was due to get cancelled before a determined fan translator posted Japanese purchasing how-to guides at the end of their translations, leading to a 2nd printing and an official English version coming.

If anyone has any secret alternatives for the sadly deceased comick.io, please DM me so that the name doesn't get spread too openly. Many thanks
