This morning I was going through a box, looking for a particular photo, and I found this copy of Strippers & Sex Queens of the Exotic World. The great Kitten Natividad on the cover. I’m not quite sure how I got this, but given the box is mostly ‘90s and high school keepsakes, it’s possible I bought it at my local comic shop back then (cover date Jan, 1994, so likely something I would have grabbed later that summer when I started working there.

John Romita Sr. RIP
Just went through my silver age Romita covers… and it’s really impossible to pick favourites. But Daredevil #16 (his first time drawing Spidey), Amazing Spider-Man #51, #53 & #75 are some of the all-time greats.
We didn’t have trades and collections when I was a kid, so barring a few reprints, I didn’t get to read Romita’s full run on Spidey until I was all grown up. It’s still the benchmark for comics storytelling today.
