At comiXology our mission is to make everyone on the face of the planet a comic fan and because of this one of our favorites panels to do every year is the Comics101 panel. For this panel we usually gather some of the industry's biggest pro’s and have them give out personalized recommendation’s. We held this panel at WonderCon 2017 and were lucky enough to be joined by CEO and co-founder David Steinberger, Valiant editor-in-chief Warren Simons, Valiant VP of marketing and communications Hunter Gorinson, and comiXology's Head of Content & Sr Dir Communications Chip Mosher.
Keep reading to see what great comics we recommended this year at WonderCon 2017!

COMICS 101: BATMAN | HAS HE EVER BROKEN HIS MORAL CODE?
Just finished writing the script for May 6th's episode of Comics 101! I hear a lot of outcry regarding (SPOILER FROM BvS) the fact that Ben Affleck's Batman is perfectly fine with killing and using guns. So I decided to research more on the topic of whether or not Batman has ever killed or used a gun, and if he has - just how many people has he killed?
So stay tuned for this episode on May 6th! Also if you have any comic issues you know personally where Batman has killed or used a firearm, be sure to let me know in the comments below so I can add it to my video :D Thanks again comic extraordinaires and remember... knowledge is power!!
We just wrapped up our last panel of the day where we were discussing how overwhelming actually getting into comics in the first place can be. How did you first get into comics?
