But who’s that Pokémon? 

I did promise the next part of the story was coming soon, didn’t I?

In this flashback, Mie is much younger - about the age Amber was in the deleted scene of the first movie. For reference, in the previous comic, Amber was about the same age as Ash (10-11 years).

For those of you who still don’t know, this is a Pokémon fan comic I am working on. It is about a reincarnated version of Ambertwo (similar to Riley from Pokemon Diamond & Pearl and Sir Aaron from the 8th movie). In her new life, Amber’s name is “Mie” (a reference to her original name “Mii” or “Me” until it was changed to “Amber"). She can’t remember anything that happened in the laboratory nor does she have any memories about Amber’s life.

This idea started with 1st the fact that Amber never got the chance to be a real character and 2nd because I and probably some other people would still love to see her return in the anime, games, etc. or at least find a hint at her. But since that never happened and probably never will happen, you’ll be getting it in this comic instead!

Also please let’s just forget that the remake of the first movie was just ... a remake and didn’t have anything new to offer aside from the visuals.

Mysterious Pokémon

Well, it seems like I finally finished this! Hopefully, I’ll be able to keep it up for at least 20 pages. If you’re still not aware of what this comic is about, it’s mostly about a reincarnated version of Amber from the first Pokémon Movie.

Since I needed another name for Amber (as this isn’t Amber herself), I went with “Mie”. It’s a mix of her two original names “Mii” and “Me”. “Mii” would’ve been confusing with Nintendo’s Mii Characters and “Me” wouldn’t exactly make too much sense for a name in English.

Mie is looking for a Pokémon she’s had a dream about. But how to find it? And was it Mew or an entirely different Pokémon?
