Thoughts on magical anasthesia
Since it’s pride month here are a few tips
This is the optimal time to grind
All LGBT+ people have x2 experience for the WHOLE month
Our stats are doubled
Straights *have* to give up any farming spots to you (and your party) if you ask (or demand)
Straights *cannot* challenge you to PvP this entire month but you can challenge them and they *must* let you win
All NPC shop prices are 90% off (stock up on those potions)
Finally, we are allowed to mock The Hets™️ without consequence
I had a really interesting conversation with a friend tonight about how DnD classifies healing spells as Evocation magic, and how from our perspective it doesn't make much sense, but in-game, in that world, of course healing magic is "Evocation" because Necromancy is illegal and evil and bad
Healer's Harm
You have spent enough time studying medicine and anatomy that you know how to make even the simplest of attacks deadly.
Once per turn, when you use the Attack action to make a melee weapon attack, you can add your medicine modifier to your attack or damage roll. You can do this after you roll, but before you know if the attack hits or not.
A reference sheet for the Tingleverse role playing game so that you can prove LOVE IS REAL when you only have one copy of the book.
HANDSSSsssssssss
So, I generally believe that I am pretty good at drawing hands now, but then still - They’re always coming back. Sometimes it’s still pretty hard to get those damn hands right.
*whispers* I ship it :3 ❤️
THANK YOU FOR SHIPPING IT I SHIP IT TOO BUT ITS LIKE. I GOTTA FIGHT THROUGH THE MONSTERS (anxiety, low confidence/self-esteem, fear of fucking everything up, etc) TO BEFRIEND THE VERY KIND AND TALENTED FINAL BOSS NAMED SKY TO BE WITH BOTH OF THEM HHHHHHHHHHHHHH
On writing half people ...
My character Misa is a half person.
She’s bright, bubbly and cute to a fault. She gives her friends and family cute nicknames and always tries to see the positive side of things. She loves animals and watching her cousin race cars and working out technological problems. She’s a happy little bunny.
She’s purposefully one sided.
Misa can’t process bad things, and when she does she can’t react to them in any other way but childishly. She has tantrums instead of discussions. She ignores reality so much it’s ingrained into her psyche. She doesn’t understand the consequences of her actions, only choosing to ignore them in favour of “being positive”.
She’s exactly how I wrote her - positivity gone into overdrive. When we focus too much on positivity or optimism, we lose reality. Misa has no grasp on reality - everything exists in her own little bubble. When something threatens to pop that bubble, she can’t respond to it.
My writing is often a reflection on concepts in my reality, and I think Misa is one of the characters I’m most proud of for that. She’s the reality of being a Mary Sue - someone who’s not at all well adjusted or equipped to deal with the world, who chooses to ignore reality and consequences and “bad things”. That’s not a good way to live. Be optimistic, be happy, but don’t allow that to become your world.
