Back in June I was in Tokyo just in time for the 152th edition of the Comitia. it took me a long time but now I have read all the books I bought there and can show them to you !

I bough this sticker to Ayuko Tokunaga (and gifted it to a friend). She was kind enough to explain me why some cat in Japan have one ear clipped. https://lit.link/en/ayukotokunaga
That cute "Ice cream girl" was drawn by Mikka Mihashi mikkamihashi.studio.site/link
An amphibian car by Ryo Yambe www.ryoyambe.com
4. Senseless a manga by Mizuno Ryokuu @myok-n. A melancholic story with clones. myok-n.tumblr.com/about
5. A short story about a crab, by さとかつ (Satokatsu?) This is a really nice manga, you learn about crabs and the story make it fun. https://satokatu031.booth.pm
6. A date in Kyoto by Kuno Corsica. I really like the author's style, akin to some old cartoons. https://linktr.ee/kuno.corsica, and despite the translation it stays funny.
7. A fun double comic both authors presented me, on top Pool by Naoya Sanuki (www.instagram.com/sanukinaoya) and at the bottom Exhibition or die!!!!!!!!!!!!! by Kuno Corsica.
8. Cheating a little bit, this small zine was bought at Taco-Che in Nakano, a great place to found indie gems like On the rainy planet by Mississippi. mississippi.mystrikingly.com
9. This is a short story anthology by Naoto Yamakawa, memories, reflections and little tales. The book is well made and the style original,it remind me of woodblock printing. Some of his books have been translated if you want to read his work.

10. Lisa and the devil and The Parking Guide by Ozawa

11. ONE, Kano Nakajima's artbook, full of delightful paintings. She was kind enough to take a drink with us after Comitia, it was lovely.

12. Yota Tsukino's 生業の島 (Isle of Livelihood) is a fascinating setting, the author really excel in urban landscapes full of details.

13. This is the catalogue of the Comitia, I had to annotate the map in advance to know where to look and I was overwhelmed by the scale of the event. If I find the courage I will write a little guide for people interested in going to a future Comitia.
14. Day By Day by Yokoyama Rikuto, this is an anthology of two short comics, I really liked the first one, about a small road trip to go see fireflies.

15. Friendship City Museum by Tsunosame. My girlfriend introduced me to the work of Tsunosame, her universe is unlike any other and this short manga is no exception, a great read.

16. Tako ni Neko by Kaidenwa. I like the drawing style Kaidenwa is exploring, but the story is way too subtle for the translation capacity of the Google trad app. I hope for a translation one day !

17. AYA-C GIRLs by Tanadatakashi, a small art book with drawing of girls inspired by monsters of various folklore. A really well made book, with cool character designs.

18. I got 3 different books from Akai Sashimi, once again the translation tool failed me and the absurd humour stay out of my reach ! The table was quite a sight too, with 3D printed toys and stamps.

19. Triathlon, Meals & Me – Summer 2025 by Mamomiji. The author log his bike trips and meals in a sketchbook. His felt pen drawings are colourful and appetizing and the idea to use photographs as a frame give this travel diary a great look.
