Fall Semester School Supplies
Here’s my haul of everything I bought for my fall semester as a Sophomore in college!
From left to right, both rows:
Two college ruled notebooks in black and red. These notebooks are for my two online classes, so they aren’t as pretty as my other notebooks because it doesn’t really matter as much.
My other two college ruled notebooks in purple and blue. I can only use college ruled notebooks because writing in the notebooks with the thicker lines is gross to me. These notebooks are far prettier than the other ones because they are for my on campus classes - math and human relations!
Two homework folders, one document holder, and page dividers. The bottom folder is black and gold, and is going to be my homework folder for math. The other folder which is actually my favorite one is a silver glittery one (that surprisingly doesn’t flake glitter off - thank god) for human relations. It also has a holographic inside and back which I love.
The document holder is a mix of a purple and blue watercolor pattern, and I’ll probably be using it for any important documents I get like syllabuses and stuff that won’t be going in my binders until I’ve studied them over.
Dividers are dividers. I got these clear ones with colorful ends and the ones that didn’t have pockets because I really wanted to avoid stuffing random papers in them so as to be more encouraged to use my homework folders instead.
Paper! I got four packs of 150 for each of my binders. I like having extra paper in my binders apart from my notebooks just incase I need to write some information down that isn’t relating to notes.
My planner. I actually decided to buy a different (bigger) planner for this semester so I’ll probably just use this as a second planner to fit in my handbag when I can’t take my actual normal planner places. It’s quite small so I think it will fit just fine.
A holder for my notecards! I’ve never had one of these but this one was too pretty to not buy. It also beats having bent and messy notecards crammed to the bottom of my backpack - which is what has always happened in the past.
Pencils. I swear by my PaperMate mechanical pencils and would rather die before using any other brand or lead size. These are the only ones that don’t make me feel like my writing is sucky, lol.
Pens. I’ve actually struggled a lot finding pens that actually write the way I want them to, but these V5 ones saved my ass last semester. I bought them in lots of pretty colors this time around because I already stocked up on the black ones awhile ago. I doubt I’ll use any other pens this semester, honestly. These have a “Sharpie Tip” which basically means the ink doesn’t smear when you’re writing and it also just feels really nice to use because the writing tip is extended out. Would recommend.
Not shown are my four white one inch binders. I don’t really buy a certain size of binders, but these came in a pack of four for like five bucks so I got them. I’ll find some cute designer sheets to print off and stick in the front cover, as well as my class timetable soon.
So that’s about it! I got all of my school supplies from Walmart because they’re having their back to school sale, so if any of you want anything that’s in this haul, Walmart is the way to go!
I’ll be posting soon with a to-do list next!
Thanks for reading and happy studying!
last working day of the week. mentally preparing myself for a weekend full of study sessions. also, coffee is really starting to grow on me :3
singapore will close down all entertainment venues tonight, keeping only workplaces, malls and schools open. i started writing again, and im going thru the motions. work has been great with more study sponsor offers on the way, and i hope everyone gets through these hard times.
think i just aced my finance quiz 🥳 it was super easy and i breezed right thru it! was super beat at the end of the day though, worked and studied for 12 straight hours on 2 hours of sleep. drained my social battery and my peers noticed. gotta monitor my mental health more.
