You ever get that feeling like you're f/o-ing characters by proxy? Like, you don't necessarily want to f/o them yourself, but you still want them to be f/os to someone and see other people self ship with them? Well, because I think I do ...

So I started rewatching Star Wars Rebels a few weeks ago and oh boy I think my dormant Star Wars hyperfixation is no longer dormant but instead coming back full force - AND NOW I WANT TO SEE THESE DORKS GETTING KISSES GODDAMMIT

These are just the first few that came to my mind but there's more (it's just that it's half past 5am and my brain is soup), but I'd love to see some self-inserts (or OCs) being shipped with them! And even if you don't like Imperials you could also just make them defect with/for you😌

In oder: Lieutenant Yogar Lyste, Commandant Cumberlayne Aresko, Minister Maketh Tua, Admiral Kassius Konstantine, Agent Alexsandr Kallus, Grand Admiral Thrawn

I wasn't quite sure about including Kallus (bottom left) and Thrawn (bottom right) in this list, because 1. they're not nearly as underrated as the others (although I haven't really seen them around in the self ship community), and 2. I also very much ship Kallus with Zeb (I'm rarely crazy about canon x canon pairings but those two are really cute), and well Thrawn is also on my own f/o list anyway xD (I usually don't mind sharing though)

Bonus: Admiral Yularen, however I prefer his look in The Clone Wars, but he makes an appearance in Rebels too!

(I really want to rewatch TCW as well once I'm finished with Rebels it's always been such a joy to watch when I was younger😭 I hope I can get my sister to watch it together with me like we used to)

Never Jump Scare an Imperial

Imperials and Jump Scare pranks (For this list, it's going to involve Commandant Aresko, Taskmaster Grint, Lieutenant Lyste, Agent Kallus, and Grand Admiral Thrawn. I will be sure to make a second list or so to add more imperials.)

Aresko and Grint: You'd have to catch them real off guard to scare them out of their wits. An example being if they're kind of just watching a classic horror movie and are paying so much attention to it, you'd have to go with the element of surprise. A good way to do this is by suddenly swinging a door open when there's a thunderstorm outside and its dark. And if you're lucky and time it at the right time, you can definitely say that it is extremely possible to see someone's soul leave their bodies.

Lyste: The best jump scare prank to pull on Lyste would be the classic spider-tied-to-a-string in a cupboard prank. Everyone learned this when Slavin had been planning on the prank to be set off by Kallus, but it was Lyste who fell for it. Because the next thing anyone knew, there was the sound of the cupboard door being opened, and then Lyste screaming and falling on his back as he's crawling backwards away from the fake spider, looking like a deer caught in headlights.

Kallus: Go inside a room with the lights turned off and hide in a closet or find a box big enough for a person to hide in. And if you change your hiding place every time, you are sure to get him jumping sky high. It gets him every time.

Thrawn: Thrawn doesn't partake in pranks. He deems as being nothing but childish nonsense. However, that doesn't mean that he hasn't had his fair share of falling for any pranks. The incident that is most talked about is the fake insect in the shoe one. He was putting his boots on when he noticed that his left boot felt kind of weird and his foot was definitely touching something that wasn't there before. So, what ended up happening was that he reached into his boot and pulled out whatever it was that was in there. And when he opened his palm, it was something equivalent to a giant roach. But what made it even worse was that this one.... wasn't fake. It was real. Thrawn had yelled something in Cheunh, and then there was the sound of him shooting at the insect.

Well. I just remembered about Commandant Aresko, yeah, it was five years ago(I really mean that, actually five years), so I decided to draw him now, with my skill upgraded a bit :з

BTS Shenanigans

- During the scene where the Inquisitor was supposed to behead Aresko and Grint, the flip mechanic malfunctioned and set it off too early. This has caused both men to topple out of their chairs too soon into filming.

Aresko automatically put his arms up to keep from doing a full roll over, but this also caused the Inquisitor to lose balance and fall over, because he had accidentally back-handed the man's ankle.

There was awkward silence at first, before Kallus couldn't take it anymore and started laughing, which set off a chain reaction from the others, including the filming crew.

- Thrawn had accidentally headbutt Slavin, by pulling him a little too harshly towards him. One minute, things were fine and then *BONK!*

"OW!" Both he and Slavin stagger back away from eachother, with Thrawn rubbing his head while Slavin looks like he's trying to stay concious. It was a hard hit, but it was still kinda funny either way.

- Everyone has at least two hours before their next shoot, which gives everyone enough time to just hang out, take naps, and get some proper food into their systems.

Lyste was found asleep in his trailer with Slavin Kallus, the three of them asleep on the couch, kinda stacked on top of each other. (Here's a photo for reference )

- At one point Ezra found some stilts in the props room while searching for his lightsaber. Of course, he gets Sabine to help him into them and for the next twenty minutes, all you see is Ezra about five feet in the air, wearing these ridiculous things, all the while trying not to fall over and hurt himself or anyone.

Thrawn finds this amusing, but eventually had to go help the boy down when he almost did fall.

- Pryce and Tua singing to Lady Gaga

- Brom Titus fell asleep on set at one point, and had to be dragged off stage.

- Eli once showed up to see how everyone was doing, and Thrawn practically broke character at seeing him, and just bear hugged the poor guy.

Pixar-esque Outtakes

- Aresko messing up his lines three consecutive times in a row, to the point he gives up and tries to walk off stage, only to forget about the stairs. He misstepped and slid down them on his back.

- A few stormtroopers playing with kittens and not paying attention.

- Tarkin reading A Study In Scarlet, while sitting on the wrong side of his desk, so that everyone could see that he's wearing house slippers instead of boots. (Easter egg!)

- Anakin tripping over his cape and falling face first into the floor, and his bucket falling off.

- Slavin running away from a bat that flew into the studio, screaming.

From my new WIP... Aresko has messed something up spectacularly again and Maketh has been though hell and back trying to fix it. But she can’t stay mad at him. Those eyes are just too soft.

Mirror/Mirror

(Imperials reactions to seeing an alternate/rebel version of themselves.)

Grand Admiral Thrawn:

It was weird, to be staring into a tall standing mirror, and to see nothing but darkness in the reflection. Suddenly, a pair of glowing red eyes appeared from the darkness and a figure walked forwards. Now standing in front of him, was another chiss. A tall male, who had long hair, and...

Thrawn had to do a double take, for he couldn't believe what he was seeing. The figure standing before him, was him. Or rather, a different version of him, who looked more or less like how he used to back in the Ascendency(did I spell that right?) if he had stayed. The other Thrawn stared right back at him, with a look that was a mixture of disappointment and betrayal, before he had spoken.

"Why would you join the Empire?"

Lieutenant Lyste

"What....no. How...How is this even possible?" Lyste had whispered as he stared at what he had first thought was his own reflection. In a way, it was. Except the Lyste that stared back at him didn't wear the Imperial uniform. Instead, he wore a simple white shirt with a dark blue jacket, with ankle high boots. This Lyste was a rebel. The rebel Lyste smiled almost sadly at him, and gently placed his hand against the glass, the only barrier that separated his world with the real one. Hesitantly, Lyste copied his movements, placing his hand directly on top of his.

"Hopefully, you can see the world from how I see it."

Captain Slavin

Slavin was both shocked, and rather disgusted at what he was looking at through the mirror. His alternate version, was more of the roguish side. A bounty hunter. Hell, he wouldn't even consider what he was staring at to be him. The other Slavin seemed unimpressed with him as well, because he made a disgusted groan and crossed his arms over his chest.

"Look who decided to sell out to the one's burning the galaxy to the ground."

Commandant Aresko

The person who stared back at him, looked rather worn out. Much more so than he did himself. The male didn't wear a uniform, rather he wore a simple dark grey tunic, with black pants and matching shoes. His hair hung in his tired blue eyes that stared at him, defeated, and broken. His alternate self was kneeling on the ground, and Aresko noticed that he had dark bruises around his neck, and around his face. As if he had gotten attacked.

"Why would you allow for the Empire to take over Lothal? Why do you hold such disregard for your own people, for your own home?"

Governor Pryce

Pryce's alternate self, was a bit different. She looked a lot like how she used to before becoming the governor of Lothal. She actually looked a bit happier, really. However, there's no mistaking the style of her clothing. The mix-and match attire, how she seemed to hold an air of resistance. A rebel. "You could become a rebel, Arihnda." She had said, until Pryce raised her pistol at her reflection.

"My loyalty, is and always will be with the Empire." She responded, before shattering the mirror after firing at her reflection. The shattered glass sprinkling down at her feet.

Remember that other drawing of Aresko that I posted maybe a few months ago? Well since my copic markers came in like around late December, I decided to go ahead and color him in. :D

And all I can say is that I kinda had to pause every now and then just to blush uncontrollably before continuing.

So...I did a thing on the Sims 4 where some of the imperial guys are students attending a private boarding school. Aresko ended up crossing paths with my oc Belladonna and this happens.

He ends up befriending my precious goth child! :D Look how freaking happy he is!

And yes, before anyone asks the other sims behind them were none other than Grint, Slavin and Kallus.

Once my internet is back on I shall post the actual screenshots instead of taking pictures on my phone.
