Welcome to Tales from the Galactic Empire, brought to you by the admin from @swimperialimagines. My old account had gotten lost, and therefore unreachable after my old computer finally died on me and was deemed unrepairable.
What you'll find here is misc. headcanons, imagines, oc stories, and the occasional fanart from time to time.

Well. I just remembered about Commandant Aresko, yeah, it was five years ago(I really mean that, actually five years), so I decided to draw him now, with my skill upgraded a bit :з

I kinda combined both the first ask with the third, because I honestly think they fit together. I will make a separate post for the second ask to avoid this one getting too long.
1. Imperials react to a s/o who is short, yet is also a cuddly cinnamon roll who is terrifying when angry
Admiral Konstantine - He is more or less kind of partially to blame for when you're angry, because this man honestly says the wrong things when you are in the area. And may the ancient ones help him if whatever nonsense he says comes back to you. It's also worse because a lot of your fellow officers kind of treat you as if you're a child because you are rather short for your age (even when the boots are designed to make whoever's wearing them be at least a few inches taller than what they are.) Konstantine tries his best to make you calm down, and surprise, it works. Because even though you glare daggers at him for half the things he says, you can never stay mad at him. You also get back at him for making you mad by constantly clinging onto him and just being cuddly when he's trying to be serious, though he eventually caves. He always does.
Taskmaster Grint - He finds it adorable. Grint is the type of man who loves small things, because he finds them to be adorable. So, when you came into his life, and when he found out that you are a cuddle bug, he feels like he has just witnessed something amazing. When he sees you angry however, even he's a little terrfied because he could never imagine something so cute, be so....angry. When your anger is not directed towards anyone though, and you're more or less just ranting on about something that doesn't make sense to you, he is definitely just thinking about how lucky he is to have such an adorable s/o. Be warned though, he does like to wrap you up in blankets and just carry you around the house sometimes, so even if you aren't the one to initiate cuddles, you have to start expecting him to be the one to do so. However, you do not mind since cuddling with Myles just means you get to spend more time with him than focusing on blasted paperwork all day.
Lieutenant Lyste - Baby boy Lyste often has to hold you back when you're in a fit of fury caused by someone who rubbed you the wrong way. He has to tell you multiple times that the person you want to flay alive is not worth it, until you calm down. When he learns that you also live for cuddles, that gives him a bit of an idea. So, what ended up happening the next time you were being an indignant tornado of fury, was that he simply held you in his arms and just started snuggling the heck out of you. Giving you kisses, the whole nine yards. This proves very effective and you're more or less putty in his hands and happily cuddling him back while everyone else is just like "what the hell just happened???"
Grand Admiral Thrawn - This man, honestly finds your anger to be amusing. He honestly doesn't take you seriously sometimes when you are angry, but don't take it personally. Because after you are done with your tangent of rage, he will actually look into it personally to make sure that whatever it is that you were going off about is actually true facts. And if it was, he would be sure to deal with it himself. However, don't try to be cuddly with him, because he turns into an unbendable statue when you try. It's not like he doesn't enjoy it when you try to be cuddly with him, it's just that he doesn't know what to do. The best that he will do is wrap his arms around you and keep you close, but that's about it.
Captain Slavin - Slavin often tries his best to not get on your bad side, because he knows that the chances of you exploding on him are dangerously high, even though he knows that you love him. He doesn't mind that you are cuddly, but please do not try and be cuddly with him in public, because he doesn't handle PDA very well. He's rather awkward about it. Also, help the poor soul who dares try to insult him when you are around. Because hell hath no fury like someone who hears their s/o being insulted. Especially when that person is you.
Minister Tua - Not going to lie, she often finds your outbursts to be annoying sometimes, even when they are justifiable. But she doesn't say so aloud, because she's honestly worried that if she were to tell you such a thing, that she might unintentionally hurt you. Which she doesn't want. But, when she does bring it to your attention that she wants you to learn to control your outbursts, and lets you know how she feels when you have one, you immediately start apologizing for annoying her, and she just responds by hugging you. Which in turn causes you to try and initiate cuddles, and she gradually accepts them with a slightly defeated sigh.
Commandant Aresko - The poor man is honestly terrified, even when your own parents had warned him about your temper that can even scare the skin off of a rancor. Granted he has found himself at the receiving end of your wrath, more than one occasion that has left him in the infirmary. However, he knows of your love for cuddles. So, what ends up happening, is that when you tackle him to the floor on the intent of releasing your anger, he wraps his arms around you and just holds you against him until you calm down. (Even if he has to handle getting his arms scratched and you trying to bite his face. But he loves you.)
Imperials and their Academy Graduation photos...
They hate them.
Captain Slavin: Slavin always says that he looks horrible in photos. And his graduation photo is differently one of them. He is standing center left and looking like he was trying hard not to yawn just as the photo was taken. Hell, even Lyste had told him that he doesn't look very good in his photo. Slavin has tried many times to get rid of the photo, but it was pointless since his mum made copies and sent it to all of his family members, and it since then became a running joke in the family now.
Agent Kallus: Since he graduated at the top of his class, that also meant that he had to look very professional in his photo since Yularen would be in the photo with him. So, what ended up happening was just as the photo was being taken, Yularen had slipped on something, and he fell to the floor while accidentally dragging Kallus with him, so all you can see is a slightly blurred photo of Kallus and Yularen mid fall. They ended up having to retake the photo, but Kallus allowed for Yularen to keep the first one, since the admiral found it to be rather amusing.
Konstantine: He was way too stiff in his photo. In fact, he was standing so rigid that even the photographer told him that he should probably loosen up a bit, but that was only met with a glare. So, the photographer kind of mumbled "Don't say I didn't warn you" and took the picture. When it came back, Konstantine looked at it and was appalled to see that he looked almost as if he were dead.
Lyste: Being the youngest out of everyone, Lyste took a picture with a few of his classmates before taking one of himself wearing his new uniform. One of his classmates accidentally punched him in the face as his dad was taking the picture, which left him with a bit of a bruise on his cheek. After his mother covered it up with a bit of foundation, they took the picture of just him wearing his new uniform. Though he is definitely glaring at his classmates from the side who were still howling with laughter.
Aresko: The poor man is tired. He and Grint had graduated together, but then went their separate ways due to choosing different career paths. But in his graduation photo, you can tell that he was tired, despite his hardest to make it look like he was awake and trying to take this seriously.
Never Jump Scare an Imperial
Imperials and Jump Scare pranks (For this list, it's going to involve Commandant Aresko, Taskmaster Grint, Lieutenant Lyste, Agent Kallus, and Grand Admiral Thrawn. I will be sure to make a second list or so to add more imperials.)
Aresko and Grint: You'd have to catch them real off guard to scare them out of their wits. An example being if they're kind of just watching a classic horror movie and are paying so much attention to it, you'd have to go with the element of surprise. A good way to do this is by suddenly swinging a door open when there's a thunderstorm outside and its dark. And if you're lucky and time it at the right time, you can definitely say that it is extremely possible to see someone's soul leave their bodies.
Lyste: The best jump scare prank to pull on Lyste would be the classic spider-tied-to-a-string in a cupboard prank. Everyone learned this when Slavin had been planning on the prank to be set off by Kallus, but it was Lyste who fell for it. Because the next thing anyone knew, there was the sound of the cupboard door being opened, and then Lyste screaming and falling on his back as he's crawling backwards away from the fake spider, looking like a deer caught in headlights.
Kallus: Go inside a room with the lights turned off and hide in a closet or find a box big enough for a person to hide in. And if you change your hiding place every time, you are sure to get him jumping sky high. It gets him every time.
Thrawn: Thrawn doesn't partake in pranks. He deems as being nothing but childish nonsense. However, that doesn't mean that he hasn't had his fair share of falling for any pranks. The incident that is most talked about is the fake insect in the shoe one. He was putting his boots on when he noticed that his left boot felt kind of weird and his foot was definitely touching something that wasn't there before. So, what ended up happening was that he reached into his boot and pulled out whatever it was that was in there. And when he opened his palm, it was something equivalent to a giant roach. But what made it even worse was that this one.... wasn't fake. It was real. Thrawn had yelled something in Cheunh, and then there was the sound of him shooting at the insect.
Lyste vs The Ex-Girlfriend.... (Mission Failed)
Task force soldier 1: Awh, look at the little one. He's got a wittle rank plaque.
Lyste: Please don't condescend me, ma'am. I-
Task force soldier 2: Want a kissy little guy?
Lyste: *nervous* A kind offer...but, I'm married.
Y/N: Hey. How about sending a little message from me, back to your limp...dick...commander?
(Soldiers jump at Lyste while laughing)
Lyste: *screaming* Don't touch that!
Aresko: *races forward and presses his face and hands on the glass* Lyste! Don't let her access any of your holes!
(Lyste runs back into the hall, with his back to the door, panting and walks by visibly battered and shaken with red lipstick kisses all over his face)
Lyste: *stammering and shaking* I... I gotta go lie down...now. *Faints and falls on the floor*
Aresko: Oh, this won't STAND!
....Commandant Aresko sounds very, very different in the Japanese Dub of Star Wars Rebels. He sounds more...well, like a teacher and more confident than in his regular English Dub.
I don't know how to feel about it. 💓
I literally said "My god, he sounds hotter than hell in Japanese.." and my Dad was just "Why does his Japanese VA sound so damn familiar?" Before looking at me like ¬_¬
When the camera stops rolling... (Actor AU)
BTS Shenanigans
- During the scene where the Inquisitor was supposed to behead Aresko and Grint, the flip mechanic malfunctioned and set it off too early. This has caused both men to topple out of their chairs too soon into filming.
Aresko automatically put his arms up to keep from doing a full roll over, but this also caused the Inquisitor to lose balance and fall over, because he had accidentally back-handed the man's ankle.
There was awkward silence at first, before Kallus couldn't take it anymore and started laughing, which set off a chain reaction from the others, including the filming crew.
- Thrawn had accidentally headbutt Slavin, by pulling him a little too harshly towards him. One minute, things were fine and then *BONK!*
"OW!" Both he and Slavin stagger back away from eachother, with Thrawn rubbing his head while Slavin looks like he's trying to stay concious. It was a hard hit, but it was still kinda funny either way.
- Everyone has at least two hours before their next shoot, which gives everyone enough time to just hang out, take naps, and get some proper food into their systems.
Lyste was found asleep in his trailer with Slavin Kallus, the three of them asleep on the couch, kinda stacked on top of each other. (Here's a photo for reference )
- At one point Ezra found some stilts in the props room while searching for his lightsaber. Of course, he gets Sabine to help him into them and for the next twenty minutes, all you see is Ezra about five feet in the air, wearing these ridiculous things, all the while trying not to fall over and hurt himself or anyone.
Thrawn finds this amusing, but eventually had to go help the boy down when he almost did fall.
- Pryce and Tua singing to Lady Gaga
- Brom Titus fell asleep on set at one point, and had to be dragged off stage.
- Eli once showed up to see how everyone was doing, and Thrawn practically broke character at seeing him, and just bear hugged the poor guy.
Pixar-esque Outtakes
- Aresko messing up his lines three consecutive times in a row, to the point he gives up and tries to walk off stage, only to forget about the stairs. He misstepped and slid down them on his back.
- A few stormtroopers playing with kittens and not paying attention.
- Tarkin reading A Study In Scarlet, while sitting on the wrong side of his desk, so that everyone could see that he's wearing house slippers instead of boots. (Easter egg!)
- Anakin tripping over his cape and falling face first into the floor, and his bucket falling off.
- Slavin running away from a bat that flew into the studio, screaming.
Fun fact for the day: Earth AU
Aresko once got roped into watching Titanic one too many times, and Grint once found him playing "My Heart will Go On" and the main theme of the movie on a flute out of boredom.
He actually memorized entire musical pieces from the movie to the last note and can play it flawlessly!
Fun fact for the day
Grint sometimes wanders around the city when he has nothing better to do. And often finds people trying to get him to sign up for things that he's not all that interested in.
It happens on a regular basis too, and he gets more and more annoyed as the day progresses.
Once an elderly woman selling these little homemade rolls saw him and she called out to him when his back was turned.
Grint immediately got annoyed, yet as he turned around to glare at whoever was bothering him this time, he paused to see the woman before him, as she presented a box of rolls to him, asking if he would like to buy some.
When she noticed how tall he was, she commented on it. Saying that he reminded her of her grandson, who she hasn't seen in a while.
Of course, that definitely melted Grint's heart way more than it should, and he ended up buying all of the rolls.
When he got back to the academy, Aresko, Tua and Kallus were staring at him like he lost his mind. Until Grint couldn't handle it anymore and started bawling and telling them about the woman he bought all the rolls from.
Yeah...he has a weakness for sweet grandmas. It reminds him too much of his own grandmas from both his mom and dad's sides of the family.
When the Camera Stops Rolling
Episode 2: Acting Demons they have to fight
Grand Admiral Thrawn:
He can't handle stans very well. He doesn't like it when they would suddenly show up out of nowhere when he's out in public, trying to run errands or just spend his free time how he wants. He'll be kind enough to stop for autographs for kids and the occasional photo, but with the stans, he will stand his ground.
He'll be polite and tell them that he has business to attend to. If they are understanding and leave him alone, he'll promise to meet up again for a few photos. But if the stans are very pushy, and keep clinging to him, he will get annoyed and lose patience.
Yogar Lyste
Comic cons, or any other type of fan meet and greet events. He is often very busy and can't always make it to every panel, or can't stay very long.
There was at one point he had a family emergency to go to, and had to leave in the middle of posing for pictures. Hearing all the disappointed cries from eagerly awaiting fans made his heart hurt as he left the venue.
He tries to stay long. He really does, but life stops for no one and he sadly can't get left behind.
Commandant Aresko
As an actor, he knows the type of affect he has on his fans. So when he caught wind of people creating fanart and fanfiction of him, he got curious and decided to look at a few.
Only to get extremely uncomfortable when he noticed a lot of NSFW work of him and either another coworker or fan. He had to create a livestream explaining that he does not appreciate that type of fanwork in the slightest. He even had to physically speak out about it at a panel, that while he platonically loves and admires his fans, that they all need to remember that relationship wise, he doesn't know any of them on that level, and must therefore see them all as strangers, just like they need to of him. Because at the end of the day, he's still just a human, trying to make his way through life, just like everyone else.
At one point he actually had to put a restraining order on a fan who became so obsessed with him, that they once tried to cut a lock of his hair when he was at a premiere event. The same fan then attacked him again while he was just walking down the street and tried to cut him just to get a sample of his blood to keep inside a locket.
Captain Slavin
Like Aresko, he had to deal with obsessed stans. He's had instances where someone would suddenly show up outside his living room window, scaring the daylights out of him, and if he was out on a date with his s/o, a stan would suddenly pop out of nowhere and start badgering for his attention, while also shoving his s/o aside and completely disregarding them.
It was this particular stan he had to press charges against. The stan's sibling came up to him one day, and revealed that they had been stalking Slavin for the past few months. Slavin had the kid show him evidence, which included but wasn't limited to; photos, security camera footage, and creepy journal entries. The one thing that really scared him was when the kid took out a few small plastic bags that contained a lock of his hair, and a few personal items from his house.
Slavin finally had enough and went to the police with the evidence. It was enough to get the stan arrested for accounts of stalking, theft, and breaking and entering into his home.
Minister Tua
Tua has to deal with haters on a regular basis. Despite herself and many coworkers telling the public that everything she does on set is completely fake, it doesn't seem to do anything.
Poor Maketh has been sent death threats, and all kinds of mean "fan" mail to the point that she almost considered ending her acting career. However, Pryce was able to talk her out of it. She'd pointed out that if Tua stopped acting, then that would mean she had accepted defeat and allowed for the haters to win.
The best way to fight the haters is to continue what she loves. Because if she stops acting, then she would be letting her true fans and admirers down.
