shepard: do you collect anything?

i haven’t actively added to my collection in a long time but: stuffed snakes! i also still get pretty rocks sometimes. and if i ever got the chance to get some more first-gen bakugan or certain tcg cards i’d jump at the chance to add to my old collections.

tali: what are your hobbies?

they’re pretty much all computer-based atm but reading (usually fic but research spirals happen), tumblr (lmao), and sometimes i have the energy and concentration for making gifs or even playing mass effect lol (that only happens like once a month though). sometimes i knit but my last project (a fancy scarf for my grandmother which was and still is a nightmare) has turned me off it a bit. and i tried to turn my only out-of-the-house hobby (flying) into a career but that backfired drastically with depression from severe misevaluation of reality so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

the illusive man: pet peeves?

the worst for me is probably stupidity/ignorance/being illogical/factually incorrect statements. also someone having the tv or some music louder than it needs to be and disturbing others me or touching something that doesn’t belong to them. and the sound of people whispering.

and god, when adults keep talking even though a kid’s trying to get their attention. idk if i’m in the ‘wrong’ here but growing up i played with the neighborhood kids a lot, and if i was talking to their parents or another kid and another came up the conversation immediately paused until the kid’s thing was taken care of (i was still a kid too which is why it may have been acceptable idk my dude i can barely people). but when i was checking out a room to rent for my final year of college the owner had his daughter there and she kept trying to get his attention, but he just kept talking to me and ignoring her and he kept shooing her off when i tried to get the attention to her and so i stopped trying to get the attention on her even though she was right there god that conversation was the worst i was so uncomfortable

captain anderson: who inspires you?

gdi this was the one question where i was like ‘what do i even say’ honestly i’ve never been inspired by other people. there have been fictional characters that i’ve liked enough to use for building my personality, but no one real or otherwise whose actions were within the realm of what i envisioned myself doing in the future. it’s really important to me to do what i want and am capable of without being influenced by others, and i’ve never found anyone with similar abilities or inclinations for me to even compare myself to so yeah

husk head: do you have any phobias?

i don’t think they’re at the point of actual phobias, but dogs and wearing rings are the things that make me the most uncomfortable. like i’d just much rather dogs be……way over there and ideally not able to get to me. i’m like that with all animals (i’m the most chill with domestic snakes but even they make me very very uncomfortable) but dogs are the worst because teeth and they’re often so in your face and some try to jump up on you which is n o. and i’m just worried about not being able to get the ring off again lol
