Because I really, really need to make this. I am bombarded by projects for uni and I have things in my drafts left from ages ago and some still unaswered and frankly I can't get my muse back no matter what I do to answer them. 

I don't like dropping threads and god knows I miss a lot of things (if I do, please for the love of idk what, chris pine's butt if you so with, TELL ME, remind me, yell at me, I don't care). But with how much I have to deal with and how stressful it is anyway, I'll just put things out here.

Jim did not feel well. At all. He had woken with a raging fever and a headache, rolling over to send a message to Sulu to inform him he was Captain for the day. He knew Spock wanted to play in the Science labs since he had been on the bridge all week, and didn't see the point in wasting the chance to give his helmsman some practice. He rolled over, bunching his covers tightly around him. He knew he was hot, but he couldn't stop himself from shivering. His throat was raw from coughing, and he didn't even want to think of how many tissues he had used. After leaving the bed to throw up, he made a small nest on the floor, dragging his duvet and pillows down by the bathroom door and dozing gentle, his bones aching and his head throbbing.
