I began my journey in 2010 when I was 18 years old. I started off as a double major and bit off more than I could chew. There are things in life that can't be avoided, such as your physical or mental health. And then sometimes things happen that make time stop in your head. While everyone (seriously, everyone!!!) that I've met since then has somehow influenced me to keep going, especially in the face of adversities, my family has always been there at the end of the day. My mom is the first person I call when I'm stressed and I'm always stressed! I don't know how she does it. My dad, who works 7 days a week, never fails to check up on me and ask about my day. My sister is my sanity. I try to set examples for her. We all have our own struggles but for the longest time I did not think would graduate and I had no confidence as a writer. My family always knew I could accomplish what I wanted, even when I saw no light at the end of the tunnel. Everything I do is for them. I couldn't have possibly got this far without them. Their support truly kept me going. Thank you for everything; and thank you especially to my parents for sacrificing so much just so I could get a higher education. This picture has to be a standalone or else my cute mom gets cut off 😭❤️ #commcsuf #csuf2017 #imacry (at California State University, Fullerton)
