It is entirely possible. But I think I got all of the bad luck out of the way in one day as opposed to a month-long trek through it. So... silver linings. :)

I just use the stand that came with my figure, but I did bump my desk pretty hard earlier today. Oddly enough, she didn't fall over, but my poor baby Groot (on the right of my desk) fell over.

Get out!! I just heard your Commander Shepard song!! I didn't realise you had quite the lovely set of pipes, my dear. And I you know when you hear a tone in music you like your body gets goosebumps - confirmed. It certainly wasn't from cold because it's a humid 85f here in my part of Australia. <3

Out of curiousity, are you Australian or english, because as far as I know not many countries using Boxing day.

I’m actually American, but it’s still the big tradition here to take advantage of the crazy post-Christmas sales. =) Consumerism! It's also faster to type "boxing day" than "day after Christmas" in my tags. ;)

Like you said it’ll cost you three times the effort to undo the fuckups, at least you can get it done your way and now you don’t have the negative fuckup energy hanging round ( i keep my swearing for all to see ;) )

I think once she leaves people will see that I'm not the problem she tells them I am. Because I wasn't a problem before all of her lies and I'm still not a problem. My behavior has not changed at all--only my interaction with her has changed. I've isolated myself for 6 months to avoid contact, so there is no fodder to use.

Plus, for me to be such a horrible person with no people-skills and a terrible, lazy employee, my numbers are the only ones that are up in this office--7% and 13% respectively. So I honestly have serious confusion over why her claims are given any credibility.

I'm trying. I'm trying really, really hard to not let people get to me. And I do okay at that most days.  But sometimes it just gets to be a little too much, you know? *hugs* Thank you for the encouragement. Sometimes that's all people need. (Also, don't tempt me with running away--I may take you up on that one day.)

Your action plan speaks to me on many levels. You do what you need to.

It's something I've needed to do for a while now anyway. The problem has always been finding the time to do so. :)
