I need more low tech stuff that is easy to have out, our letterboard isn't laminated yet and stuff
But made tiny board that fits in name badge holder things for protection! And put keyboard on back. I also have some tiny stylus things for my LCD tablet so I attached one. And now I can keep it in my pocket all the time! So now if I go out for walks without my ipad or it dies or something or some emergency, I will have a way to communicate! Also hoping that I can use it as I come out of catatonia before I have full movement to help facilitate getting out sooner.
Expanded ID: a mini communication board, double sided. First image shows first side, vertical, which has 24 boxes with basic words and phrases including, "not, need, I can't speak, don't touch, loud, help, frustrated, pain, water, sit / wheelchair, get my support person, hot," and more. Most have an icon, but the longer phrases don't.
The second image shows the reverse side, horizontal. It had a keyboard including numbers and a few punctuation marks and backspace. It also has 7 boxes that say, "ask yes / no questions, stop, bathroom, don't push, I can do it, not what I meant, and push please." There is a blue plastic stylus with a springy coiled cord attaching it to the name badge.
I'm excited about this, hope it's not too small for me to be accurate with. Stylus definitely helps, because the squares are as big as my fingertips, and the letterboard ones are smaller than my fingertip. (Don't expect to try to spell much on the letterboard though, it's more there for just in case. Would want my full size letterboard for that.)
(If anyone wants the file to make your own feel free to DM me! Can be made bigger or smaller, you could make them full page if you wanted. Anyway that's all)
