Over the holidays, StutterTalk posted a thoughtful podcast about the Did I Stutter Project. The discussion, led by three people who stutter from speech-language pathology and self-help backgrounds respectively, explored some perspectives on our four main points, as listed on our homepage.
Topics included how much of our struggle with stuttering has to do with society and ableism, whether focussing on ableism can take away our sense of control, and what informed consent and stuttering-positive perspectives around early therapy might look like.
We’d love to hear your thoughts on the discussion!
