The resistance training (RT), also called gym, lifting weights, machines [old school way to name it here in Oz] does a whole lot of good stuff to your body and health. To mention a few, increases your BMR, drops your BP values, make your bones stronger, reduces the pain and discomforts caused by arthritis and more. Believe you or not, improves your aerobic capacity (AC) too. Don’t you know what that means? Yes you do! You and most people at the gym or similar facilities (that includes Crossfit places too, sorry 🤔) name AC as ‘cardio’. C - A - R - D - I - O. So Rafa, are you saying that doing my weights will make my cardio get better? No but Westcott said it does and he told me to let you know it too. And if lowback pain is your best excuse for not doing it, sorry again but gym (remember it’s also a name for RT) will help you to bring that down as well. Are you not doing it yet? Start now #mate! Photo: KK Kelcey Kovacs trains three mornings a week varying among sessions by herself, classes and also PT. Her exciting programs cover of a mixture of weights, cardio, agility, balance, stretching, mobility and core exercises. And man, if you still don’t know what this 74 years young girl can do, no problems! Just come at #HBFStadiumGym and check her out hanging in different ways under and over the #Queenax. ‘I love the challenge of new exercises and enjoy feeling confident and strong.’ (KK, March 2018) #resistancetraining #science #scientificallybased #strength #weightlifitng #progressionprinciples #personaltrainer #education #hbfstadium #unesp #ufscar #uwa #gymcrew #hbfstadium #strengthbattles #perth #workout #motivation #fitfam #perthfit #perthfitfam #perthactive #perthfitness #instafit #instahealth #healthylife #sweatlife #fitspo #fitlife #communityisgrowing #joinus #personaltraining #pt #perthsportslife #findout #westernsuburbs #perth_today #venueswest (at HBF Stadium)
