Monday 1st December
Happy chocolate for breakfast season!! My first advent choc was a white choc truffle 😍 walked Mags together in the pitch dark at 6am, it rained the whole time but not too heavily so we didn't mind. Came home and had breakfast, logged on for phones all day luckily it wasn't too busy but nearly everyone I spoke to just blabbed on and on and on about completely irrelevant stuff and I want to be kind and attentive and give them the time of day but I don't really have the time.. I have to get better at being more concise, even abrupt if I need to. One guy started telling me about the meals he makes his kids and I'm sat there thinking I didn't ask and this is irrelevant to anything you called me about dude let's get back on track 🤦🏼♀️
Matt's parents are being cunts to brother & sister in law BUT I don't need to stress about that bc it's not actually to do with me. I can be there for them and offer advice but I don't need to be angry on their behalf, that just takes up my energy and mental space and worsens my relationship with them unnecessarily. Trying so hard to take on board what the therapist said last week that I take on other people's problems when it's not my responsibility to do so. So I stewed on it a little bit then stopped myself and put on a HIIT dance workout and it made me soooo happy and it didn't feel like I was distracting myself, it was a conscious choice not to let something that happened between 2 other sets of people and had nothing to do with me ruin my day

Friday:
Oooh, boy! I am SORE. But, I wasn’t going into the weekend without workout 5 in the bag! 😤
My strength training workout was thorough today! I was able to stick with the 3x10 for most of my moves. I even went up a bit on the resistance for my bicep curls. Other than that, weight range stayed at the 12-20 range. I had to add speed rope rounds after the upper body moves to keep the HR in the burning zone.
Somehow, I managed to get through a cardio HIIT workout after all that! 😳 And, it was tough! My legs and glutes were shaky at the end. But, I managed a half hour high intensity rounds to “hit” my calorie goal (pun intended 🤭).
Total calorie burn = 403 kcals 😮💨
That is FIVE for this very challenging week! I’m proud of myself for getting through every workout. But, I sooooooo need a break! 🙌🏽

I also had 6 hours of dancing, 2 days of archery, and 1 day of bowling. And my lowest weight registered in over 3 years, for two Fridays in a row. Yay!

My brain says "epic workout" but my legs are currently filing a restraining order against me. We all know that "no equipment" just means the floor is your new enemy.
