Today in "No good deed goes unpunished", I was in the parking garage elevator on my way to catch the train to work when I heard someone yell "Can you hold the door for me please!". I look up and it's a woman with a stroller at the other end of the garage. Now there are 3 elevators that run super fast, so I know I could be at the train by the time she gets to my elevator, and it won't be a hardship for her to call a new one, as it will get there in seconds. But of course I'm a big jerk if I don't hold the door, so I do, causing me to miss the train by literally seconds. And now the next train has been "10 minutes away" for the past 15 minutes because they are having switching problems, and I'm going to be very late for work. I am *this* close to marching down the platform, grabbing stroller lady, and yelling "Are you happy now BITCH"

People who reach the top of the escalator and just stand there WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU?!! WERE YOU RAISED IN A BARN??! Same goes for people who enter a store and just stand there in the doorway blocking anyone else from entering, like, take your own sweet time BUT DIDN’T ANYONE EXPLAIN TO YOU HOW TO EXIST IN THE MODERN WORLD???!!!

Today I’m supposed to fly from Boston to Richmond for my friends wedding.  So far I have: gotten my period (complete with debilitating cramps and dysphoria), sat in front of three screaming children for an entire flight, had my second flight get delayed because of the impending BLIZZARD and the fact that Virginians don’t know how to handle three inches of goddamn snow (I LIVED IN BOSTON FOR THE SNOWIEST WINTER ON RECORD JFC GROW A PAIR VIRGINIA), I am full of both period AND commuter rage rn.  Can you guys just send me nice messages to affirm my masculinity because I’m about to cry in front of a bunch of strangers and I swear to god if I get called “miss” one more time I’m going to have a breakdown.

Usually they're honking at the car in front of them who is waiting on pedestrians to cross before making their right turn. What are they supposed to do, just run over them?
