Is anyone here good at Python programming?

I'm trying to create a hangman game using turtle module and I can't figure out how tf to make it so that the word selected (randomly) from my list appears as underscores rather than the word itself before the game really kicks off.

So like if the selected word is 'known' how do I make it appear as '_____' and then replace the underscores with correctly guessed letters from players?

I want to take a break but can’t

It’s Monday and I’m really suppose to be grinding and focusing on learning Java. I’m at the stage where I’ve covered most of the basic stuff so this is where I learn the new stuff. But for some reason I literally don’t have any willpower to look at code. I’ve been on a streak since Dec 20-something. Progress has been slow but I’ve been learning. This should really be the final push but I just don’t want to do anything. I technically did take a day off yesterday, so I should go back to work. I just want to go on a walk and then stay at home and watch netflix.

I’ve also not been focusing on my other hobbies and goals so now I’m just craving everything like watching movies, practising my drawing skills, reading, practicing French, going to the gym, 3D modelling, learning react (I know this is code but I just want something besides Java)

Winter break ends soon and I have a ton of work to do :(
